Yesterday I went to pick up my dog's dishes with my 1000 mah twist in my hand. When i went to put it in my pocket to pick up the dog bowls I missed my pocket somehow and the twist fell on the carpet. From my pocket to the carpet was only a few feet. When i picked it up the bottomside of the button was stuck in and cocked sideways like this / ..but not constantly firing. I was a bit ticked off because it only fell a few feet onto carpet and my regular 1000mah ego I cant even count how many times I had it on my lap and jumped out the truck and sent it to the ground like a missile..always worked fine though..just scratched the finish a bit.
I thought maybe its just stuck in that funny position and if i mess with it a bit i can get it to pop back out. Nope! Its permanently stuck like that..either the circuit board the button is on moved inside or the top of the button broke from the board and is sticking out...not sure yet.
I found out that If i use what little nail i have on my thumb and press in on the bottom of the button it will fire.
So im able to use it..though it is a pain since the bottom of the button is in past the curved part of the head.
I'll probably end up yanking the head off to see If I can fix it..only reason I haven't already is last time i pulled a head off a UGO I had to pull hard and when it gave I ended up pulling the wires from their spots on the circuit..major pain to mess with those tiny wires.
Anyone else have issues with their buttons?...seems kinda flimsy for that small amount of force to break it..really sucks because other than that I love the battery...performs well and seemed durable enough.
Edit... 80 views later and no responses..guess I just had bad luck on that one
