Really? I think this is the first time I hear someone that prefers an internal battery. Why do you prefer it like that? if you don't mind sharing your opinion.
All my other mods take 18650. It's nice to have a portable kit that I can charge Willy Nilly without having to swap batteries. :)

Most mods you can charge the 18650s in the mod anyway if that is what you like.
Yeah but there's an increased risk of bricking the device doing that, especially multiple battery mods and balance charging. I reserve that for when I really need to and stick with external chargers.

I like an internal battery, too! I haven't had any problems with my devices dying young due to the internal battery. I still have a couple of MVPs from 3-4 years ago! Sometimes it's nice to not have to worry about buying or carrying extra batteries, and nowadays they charge really fast via USB.

Great. Is everyone moving onto the next thing already? Lol... I ordered my white Egrip 2 over the weekend along with another Kayfun mini v3. Should be here tomorrow. Cupti looks nice but I don't think I want anything bigger. Looking forward to trying out the temp control again... hopefully it'll be a better experience than I had before with TC.
We just like to torture ourselves with stuff we cant have.

I bought a MVP2 and it lived charging for 8 hours a day. So whenever I wanted to use it, it was likely charging. After a week of this, I put it back in the box and I haven't used it since.

Sounds like your MVP had a battery problem perhaps? 8 hours charging is ridiculous! I also like internal battery devices. I actually only have 1 mod that uses an external battery that I'm currently using and it's the Wismec Presa 40w, all of the rest of my mods have internal batteries. I never had an issue with them and I generally prefer smaller and more compact devices. I'm a fairly light vaper so I don't need extra batteries or charge often.

My Egrip is arriving today... sometime soon I hope... mailman is late today!! Which coil to try first for MTL? And where do I even start with the TC coils? I don't know what temperature to set it at. I'm gonna be a complete noob once again.

Start with the clapton maybe? As for temp, just like wattage, start low and work your way up to a sweet spot.

Yay, got my Egrip in the mail not too long ago. Took me a moment to figure out how to navigate the menu but I got it running now. Turns out, the tightest setting on the AFC is tight enough for me with a smaller drip tip, so I'm pretty happy about that. Using the Clapton coil at the moment. Does the screen always default to the dial clock display? I wanted to change the clock setting to the numerical display but I don't like military time and it still goes back to the dial clock when the screen times out. I guess it's not that important if I can't change it. Not gonna mess with the TC for now.. maybe after this coil craps out I'll give it a try. The white finish is very.... clinical looking. I almost wish it was a little more pearly looking or shiny as its very matte, but it's not a big deal. If anything, maybe I'll throw a skin on it one day. For now, I'm enjoying a nice papaya plum juice that I tossed in my cart at VapeNW for the free shipping.

Happy to hear it worked out for you on your preferred draw! I think you will like it a lot. I usually run TC coils between 450f and 480f depending on the juice but as Coolloser said, start low & adjust higher till you find your vape. eGrip II is a moist vape so it may not be necessary to go that high.

Once I set the time & date & got it working I never played with any other setting other than to adjust the temp.

Yes, the moist vape is very nice and tasty. I'm enjoying it a lot, it hasn't left my hand since I got it today lol. I must say these Clapton coils perform a lot better than the BF coils for me.. at least the one that came with my Ego AIO a while back. I'm glad I finally got this mod. Egrip hasn't failed me yet! I don't really understand the purpose of the piece that the drip tip goes into and screws into the AFC. The AIO doesn't have it.. not that it really matters. Hope the tank won't be annoying to clean out. My old Egrip is reserved only for menthol/mint liquids so all of the juice I put inside is pretty similar and I only clean it once in a while.

Gad to hear you like the vape! Definitely tasty I agree.

The piece that the drip tip goes into and screws into the AFC is the air intake separation tube feeding air outside to the coil and returning your vape to the drip tip in the inside. If the draw wasn't tight enough for your liking that was what I was going to tell you to remove and replace the single oring on the outside with a thicker one in the hopes it would further restrict the intake & if that didn't work I was going to tell you to add very thin undersized orings down the tube at various points to restrict and disrupt the intake path to provide that further restriction. Never realized AIO didn't have it. It actually does, it is just not easily accessible and removable I guess.

Glass tanks clean pretty easily w/ hot water & maybe a little Ever-clear, quick swish with a tube brush, & a dump & dry. Just be neat about it, use a squirt bottle & keep it away from the faucet so you can protect the electronics and avoid another unfortunate pool incident.

Look forward to your continued feedback thoughts and opinions on eGrip II as you become more familiar with it! Hope it meets your expectations! Enjoy!

Joyetech eGrip 2 Kit | Ecig.com

While the price isn't very good right now, Ecig.com has seen the light and has stocked Egrip 2 for the first time that I'm aware of. Great sign of future deals to come as Ecig.com almost always has a great 20% off coupon on Holidays and runs some pretty aggressive sales pricing.

Right now they have Cubis tanks at $12/ea and Cubis coil 5pks for $6.99. Usually pretty easy to find 10% & 5% off coupons for them on the internet but most are one time use only for your username.

At any rate I'm looking forward to their 4th of July sale pricing!
