Hey guys. Just got back from vacation where I ruined my phone the second day there (dropped it into the pool) along with my Coolfire 4, so now that I'm back and finally have access to the internet again, I've been able to catch up a bit. I definitely need a new mod now since I lost one...
When I am going to be out in the rain, pool, or hot tub, I carry one of these.

Nail polish and water? It's almost like you wanted to destroy things! ;)
Seriously though that's brutal.

I did link my review here (with pictures!) as @Tpat591 touched on. I haven't had a dry or harsh hot on the eGrip II yet and I even vaped it past where I couldn't see any liquid. It's not as tight as my ego one but still very MTL worthy.
The adapter works really well for other tanks too, just be careful not to overtighten external tanks. I did once to see how hard it would be to get apart and it's not easy to grip the adapter as it's smooth. Other than that it feels solid with any tank on it, no wobble and things fit flush.

Hope jet lag treats you well! Let me know if you have more questions :)

What happened to me actually was that I was really drunk at a resort hotel and apparently jumped into the pool with my phone and then got out to take a vape but ended up using it in the pool and dropping it in as well. I then brought it inside to dry and knocked over an open bottle of nail polish all over it. Well, the nail polish wasn't open but the top wasn't screwed on completely and it spilt out over night onto the device. I made a huge mess in the room and then slipped and fell in the bathroom and got myself a pretty nasty bruise. Ugh... well, normally I don't go in pools nor am I around water very often, so this was just a vacation mistake that won't likely happen again for a long time... hopefully.

I do have a question though. At the smallest air flow control setting, is it about the same airflow feeling as all the other Cubis tanks and Ego AIO? I have the AIO but the smallest airflow is still too loose for me. I was hoping maybe the Egrip 2 would allow more restriction but I assume they are the same and the tightest setting will still be too airy for my preferred draw. I do have an Ego One tank somewhere but I do vaguely recall being able to close that airflow up completely if you wanted to? Unless the Egrip 2 also allows that, I don't think it would be able to be as tight as the Ego One tank.

Wow... thats quite the waterproof vaping collection you have. You must live in water lol. I will definitely consider one of these in the future if I go somewhere where I think I will be around water and alcohol a lot.

Ugh, that sounds like a rough night. Nothing like a bruise to remind you of your antics!
I don't think it'll go as tight as you're looking for, even when I close it off, it's still kinda airy.

Been looking for a good memorial day sale on these & cannot find one at all. Anyone see one? Vapenw & 101Vape not discounting or adding a general code discount. Wish 101Vape would as I'd like to order the white Egrip II & a Black Smoant Knight V1.
ecig.com has a 20% off sale going on (coupon: Mday20). And Fastech has a 10% one on Monday (coupon: RESPECT).

ECIG.COM doesn't carry Egrip II. Fasttech RESPECT will discount to $43.19 so not really worth the Effort wait/time. Did Order another DX200, RX200, VT133 from Ecig though.

Oh sorry! That is where I got my eGrip VT at.
Yeah, I was talking to the manager couple weeks ago trying to get him to stock Egrip II and he wants to but the owner took a bath on the VTs. He bought a crapload cheap as JT was dumping them and had nothing but complaints on the VT not working right. He got so frustrated he started giving them away rather than reimbursing for them all the time.

Consequently the manager can't get the owner to allow him to order Egrip II.

$84.90 for Egrip II @ Heavens Gifts 15%off drops to $72.25 another 8% off Drops to $66.47.

101Vape carries it at $43.99 so Heavens Gifts is still pretty high even with the stacked discounts.
I didn't really look at prices to be honest. Just where I knew sales were happening.

See Ecig,com does carry Nebox @ $41/ea. Discount that by 20% and $32.80 ain't a bad price!

Of course the idiots there won't let me use MDAY20 twice and will not allow me to add 2 nebox to my previous order. They just lost the sale of two mods and I'm temped to cancel my previous order because I hate poor customer service!

Alright, I stand corrected on the airflow, I was able to crank mine tighter than I realized! It was stiff out of the box but I was able to loosen it up, super MTL now.
I do not desire a tight MTL draw anymore and now have difficulty imagining what is an acceptable MTL draw. I gotta admit was very confused when you were saying that Egrip II did not close down enough for an acceptable MTL draw as to me it is as tight as I ever remember Analogs to be. At the time I was figuring it must just be me, but I had a lot of trouble understanding how anyone could still want it tighter and still think they could still expect to get anything through it at all.

Kyi has already said that AIO is not tight enough though and I believe it to use the exact same mechanism and construction. After examining the mechanism however, I would think in this case, adding an oring or two or simply increasing the diameter of the one that exists in the intake mechanism would be a simple matter to achieve that "golf ball through a garden hose" draw that is apparently desired. Only @Kyi can make the decision as to whether or not to purchase but to purchase this piece of equipment knowing she is not satisfied with AIO and expect it to perform any differently in airflow without modification would be an act of folly. Using Egip II in TC Mode will however in theory keep the burnt aspects of her complaint in the hits from occurring.

To Kyi: I honestly hope you find what is necessary to satisfy you & keep you off the stinkies. Your tastes & requirements will change the further you go in this experience. I'm not trying to be negative or discourage you at all when I honesty suggest that you try not to be so rigid in your requirements. You will find that you have a much greater ability to adapt to your equipment than you have of of getting a manufacturer to adapt their equipment to your taste.

Well said, it feels really tight to me but it still doesn't close all the way like my ego one did. Orings might be just the ticket!

Well I happen to have some O-rings sitting around. I don't believe myself to be that 'restricted' in my vaping preferences, I have other tanks that are suited for lung hitting, I just find that I personally enjoy a tighter draw most of the time. While I do enjoy the occasional lung hit, most of the time though, I feel like I'm just taking a huge rip from a... rhymes with a song... and especially when I'm out and about, I don't like public displays of massive vapor clouds. I find that MTL hits resembles smoking a cigarette more and I just find it more satisfying. People like what they like right? I'm not expecting the Egrip to magically become what I want it to be, I just want to know what it actually is so I can decide if it is doable for me. Main thing being I've had 3 Egrips so far that has been able to give me the tighter draw that I like and the new one doesn't work the same way, so I just needed more info to make my decision.

I will still probably pick one up, been sitting on the decision for a while, mainly waiting for a good deal to pop up I guess. Memorial Day didn't exactly have any spectacular discounts so I didn't get one then. Either way, the fact that it has the option to use your own atomizer on it is nice. And who knows, maybe over time I will start to prefer the lung hit more. And another reason I need another Egrip.. my drip tip somehow broke off inside the hole in the Egrip and I can't get the bottom piece out.. I can still use the drip tip but it looks like it will be the last drip tip this Egrip will ever use lol.

101Vape & Vapenw were bitter disappointments on Memorial day & no sales on Egrip II were to be had anywhere. Closest I could come was to buy two Nebox for $32.80ea at Ecig.com.

I don't believe Egrip II really provides massive clouds. Vapor is more moist and dense w/o massive cloud especially in MTL. Use temp control to stop burnt aspect and ASB drip tip. If you want tighter draw try a thicker oring in place of stock one in intake & think you will be fine.

I SINCERELY DO NOT THINK YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED WITH EGRIP II.
