The wicking I'm using nowadays is Muji in a "modified" Scottish Roll.
Which simply means using only 50% to 65% of the ludicrous amount used in the one vid I watched on the subject. Sorry... no numbers/sizing recommendations... I'm not that precise with it.
But it works damn well... obviously as it's me saying it, and not having a leaking tank.
I will admit... I still err on the side of too much wick. I can't really get much beyond 4v (and change) on the majority of my simple builds before the dry hits start to show themselves.
It's not a major handicap for me... there's still plenty of vapor.
As I recall... for the full size I put in a big ol' honkin' simple 24G 316 SS.
About 11 wraps IIRC for 0.63 ohm. Had to span that canyon between the leg holes.
I felt like going a little different in the Nano, so I paralleled some 26G 316 instead.
It's probably only 4-5 wraps (P, not Twisted) and sitting at 0.29.
Both are goodly sized IDs... the original is 3.5mm and the Nano is that or 4.0mm.
I'll rewick the Nano soon... just a bit "too" too much wick.
But zero leaking or condensation... "But, it's a
dry heat man."
