I have not read the whole thread.

I like the tool, will play with it more as my supplies arrive.

On first blush, It would be nice for a test mix formula.

IE - I read some thing that suggest

Ingred #1 - 15 drops
Ingred #2 -10 drops
Ingred #3 -5 drops
Ingred #4- 5 drops
Ingred #5 -3 drops


I am getter some fractional ML readings based on my desired Nic MG and base levels.
As a test the Nic level would be secondary to the flavor ratio. Should I put in 0 Nic?

So, I've DLed your recipe calculator and found it a bit confusing, but I think I can work through it. I want to thank you for taking the time to create one that's easy enough to understand for a newbie like me

Here's my question: I'm looking to DIY a nice menthol flavored e juice. I'm probably going to buy some unflavored nic juice (60 ml of 100 mg) from MyFreedomSmokes, as well as some non-nic VG (I prefer VG over PG). I'll be able to figure out the correct ml of each that I'll need to create my end product of ~24mg e juice. My question is, though--- every menthol 'flavor' I run across seems to state that it is just a mixture of PG and menthol crystals. Instead of buying one of these 'flavors', do you think I could simply dissolve my own crystals into my PG/nic mixture?

I dissolved my menthol crystals in Everclear, PGA..... worked fine....

I made a spreadsheet in open office, 1 sheet is the standard nic calculator and the second sheet is for mixing ready made juices to get another nic level. It can be downloaded from here: http://fupdup.com/e-juicecalculator.xls

I saved it as an xls file because openoffice works with it as does the popular M$ product, but MS seems to have a problem with ods files.

I did this, and I can't recall the details, but I subbed VG for quite a bit of the PGA. But I don't think it matters either way.

This site is excellent. It does it all.

That's the one I use since I can't ejuice me up due to having a mac.
I love that calculator though, very user friendly. I just ignore the drops part.

I haven't used Windows for over 10 years. The spreadsheet works well in Open Office/LibreOffice.

The only quirk I have found, is that the new-recipe macros don't work. It's easy enough to manually add them.

How do i calculate nicotine from mg/ml into %?
Assume i have 18 mg/ml, would that equal 18% or 1,8%?

Hi Joe,

1.8% is equal to 18mg/ml. I haven't added anything for a while, and I am away from a copy of it right now. I think you just go to the bottom of the existing list, and type it in.

You'll have to unlock the spreadsheet and then do an insert in the existing table. If you just add it to the end of the list, the pull-down will not show them, but an insert will.

Joe, I use OpenOffice/LibreOffice. The MS/Excel-centric macros do not work. I manually add them, and then they are available in the recipes.

The macros DO work for my version of Open Office, but i just can't add manufacturers or flavors...

How do i do this?
