Using two 2500 mAh batteries, in a parallel setup you'll have 5000 mAh at a nominal 3.7v. In a series setup you'll have 2500 mAh at a nominal 7.4v, half the mAh but double the voltage. As current is traded for volts, and vice versa, to produce a certain wattage, the amp hour capacity is identical.
5000 (2 x 2500 mAh) x 3.7 / 1000 = 18.5
2500 x 7.4 (2 x 3.7v) / 1000 = 18.5"
Are you using the iStick in TC mode or VW? I haven't messed around with TC very much with mine but it's my favorite mod right now, too.The iStick and my Cuboid are my favorite mods right now. I hardly even use my DNA200's now.

I wish I could find the TC amazingness, but I just haven't gotten there yet.Right now using the Cubis with the RBA, I'm using it in wattage mode. When I was using the Cubis with the stock coil, I was using it in TC mode.
I just did what Jim said and dialed it right in at 450/460 depending on how long I want to hit it.LOL... 12mg in a Crown is approaching hardcore. Yes, you'll be shopping 6 or lower.
For TC... you can keep the 25w, you'll probably raise it at least a bit later.
Except for the Nickel head, the Crown factory heads are Stainless.
So, switch to SS mode, set the temp limit in the low 400s (F).
And double check the TC watts setting... it will probably differ from Power mode.
Now the hard part... try to watch the screen as you draw.
If you hit "Temp Protect" before you get a lungfull... bump the set temp up a tad.
Rinse and repeat until a full draw has the temp "bouncing" off temp protect.
If you like, you can then up it once more.
Now... adjust the power so you get to temp quickly but not overshoot.
That's the gist of TC.
It's a bit of vaping getting it dialed in, you may not want to do this with the 12mg.
Or you may like a much cooler vape, or the head/build vapes hotter than you like.
By that point, you'll know what to do.
If you find from the start that the vape is weak, set one of the memories to 110-120.
It should be around 94 for the Crown's 316L SS, but JTech/Wismec/Eleaf TCR calculations appear to be a tad low. As always... YMMV.
I'm not really digging TC using SS 316L though. It will work fine for a couple of tanks, and then it starts where as soon as I press the fire button it immediately hits temp protection so it is like you're vaping at 5 watts versus 30 watts. Since it is SS, I can switch it over to power mode and vape using VW. If I vape for about half a tank to a full tank of juice, then I can switch it back to SS TC and it will start working correctly again.I wish I could find the TC amazingness, but I just haven't gotten there yet. There are so many nifty settings and customizations in TC but so far I still find that I get a better vape from nichrome and kanthal in VW. Maybe someday it will all just click and I will figure it out, but it's so nice to have a solid device with long battery life that gives me consistent flavor and vapor that I just roll with it, lol. #lazyvaper.

My OCD just kicked inI don't guess I really notcied at first but I was putting new batteries in all 3 of my isitcks and I noticed the doors appear to have numbers on them. My gray one had #4 on each door and my white has #2 and #3 on the doors and my black had #1 and a door with no number. Doesn't really make sense to me but Eleaf did it for whatever reason.
Okay I have let it eat at me for a while could someone with a black one open it and tell me if the numbers on your doors match....I just can't take it anymore![]()
Does the juice taste any different with SS than it does with kanthal or nichrome? I have tried a couple of SS coils but they had that ramp up time I am not fond of so I didn't use them for very long. I just haven't found anything useful from TC yet. I never get dry hits anyway, and that was really the main reason I saw for it.I'm not really digging TC using SS 316L though. I am numberless! Now I feel ripped off, lol! I just saw where we will be able to buy extra doors for these soon. Maybe you can order some doors with the right numbers on them!Okay I have let it eat at me for a while could someone with a black one open it and tell me if the numbers on your doors match....I just can't take it anymore![]()
You have to look at it just right in the right light. The number will be up by the magnet.... my black one has a 1 and a 3 on them. jstrong your right you do have a case of OCDI am numberless!
