Ooops, sorry! #enabler :D

Just out of curosity, granted I probably don't want to know the answer, how is it on the battery life compared to the X Cube? Not trying to be too nosy, but I normally run 60 watts with a Sapor at about .3 ohms and I feel like I get about a day out of my X Cube/

I normally end up having to run out somewhere so I've never actually had a day to dedicate to my X Cube with that setup. My VTC mini usually is my out and about rig, even though I normally still have my sapor on it. But I have to bring spare batteries with me if I do that, cause otherwise it burns through them like nothing.

I've browsed through the thread and it looks like everyone has been pleased with the 100w TC so far. It doesn't look like there have been any issues or glitches so. I ordered a grey one from FT during CNY, couldn't pass it up at $27. It hasn't shipped out yet, still waiting for a tank I ordered to be in stock, two more days.

I'm looking forward to playing with it, but will have to wait a couple weeks to arrive.
Oooh you are going to love it! The first firmware upgrade was just released, making it a 120 watt device now. Upgrading was a snap and I have had zero issues with mine. :)

Good question! I haven't compared the 2 devices but I will do that. The iStick gets excellent battery life, but I will start with a fresh set of batteries on one of them and run it until it dies, then use the same batteries and settings on the other device and report back. It's going to take a few days, though! :)

Everybody's vaping style is different, what last a day for me might last someone else two days and someone else half a day, even at the same wattages. If you can, keep track of how much liquid you go through on a set of batteries. I found that's probably a better way to compare, I go through about 10-15 ml/day, but that's just me. :D

That's a great idea! I honestly have no idea how much I go through. I am running 7 mods currently, all with different juices in them, lol. Flavor ADD much? :D

@roxynoodle I didn't like it at first but the fire button has really grown on me and made it so easy to use. I am glad you are enjoying it. Do you like the istick or IPV5 better? Have you had any issues with the batteries tearing on the IPV taking them out? That was what scared me the most about the IPV

I like the ipv5 better. The chip is quite similar to the sx350j v1 :). No problems with the batteries, but I'm careful removing them. I like it so much I will probably get another.

Don't suppose anyone has both the istick TC 100W and the Cuboid, and could post a photo for size comparison? - Haven't bought a new mod in at least a month ;););), and i'm itching to get one of these for high power on TFV4 etc. I will probably never ever vape at over 100 watts, so to me the deciding factor is the form factor to be honest! Absolutely love my eVic VTC's, so am leaning towards the Cuboid if the form factor is more pocketable/ sleeker than the TC 100W!! Cheers, and happy friday!

I finally pulled the plug and upgraded to to the iStick 100w tc, I also bought a Griffin to put on top. The Short amount of time I've used it is already leaps and bounds over my old set up.
I'm looking forward to putting this beauty through its paces.

It's gonna be a vapetastic weekend!

Jeez... guess I'm just going to have to pull the trigger on one.
It's too close to the weekend now, so I'll wait till Sunday, one way or the other.

The IPV5 probably uses the same menu as the D2, so that's out... for me.
I only use mine in VW as I despise the menu so much.

The Cuboid looks workable, though very heavy for it's size.
And that battery door doesn't inspire confidence. Still, it's a maybe.

I'm seeing opinions that the Kanger 120w is no great shakes.
Still dislike Kanger mod aesthetics though.

And this one has it's own UI issues (watts adjust in TC mode) that have kept me from getting one already.

But, as I said... I'm up to my ankles in unused married pairs and need a two cell with SS TC.

What the hell, right? :p

Thanks so much for that! The istick does look pretty sleek actually- which one do you find yourself using more, and why? Cheers!

The istick has better battery life. For some reason the Cuboid drains quicker even though it is a dual 18650 I could drain my Cuboid in less then a day and I get a day and a half on my istick with the same build and wattage. There is a good bit of talk on the Cuboid thread about short battery life. I like the way the istick contours to my hand. The Cuboid hurts my hand because it is completely square and doesn't have many curves.

What really shocks me is this thread hasn't been as active as the Cuboid, Evic VTC etc. I guess ever since the istick 50's having trouble there has been less interest in the istick. It's really a shame because the istick 20 was my first device and the istick 100 was a great cheap dual 18650 that had some power and I still use mine. I have plenty of mods from DNA200's to SX Mini ML, IPV D3's and a RX200, Evic VTC, Cuboid and this really has become one of my favorite devices for the money, the feel of it and battery life. I love the way it fires. I have forgot how hard it is now to get my finger to press a firing button when I just squeeze this. There wasn't a lot of posts in the 60 watt istick thread either and I have one of those and it's a great little mod as well. Really hoping some of the regulars in the other Joyetech threads will come and board and buy this mod.

I know what you mean! I have been clothes shopping for mine today, lol. I have narrowed my choices down to 4, and I am getting a white one ordered this weekend so I will have CHOICES!! :) It really is a great little mod.

I think the thing with the Evic and Cuboid threads is that they are spinoffs from contests so they got more exposure. This mod has just as much, if not more, to offer and it's even less expensive, so I expect there will be more people coming here once more people have them. I hope so, anyway. I love the discussion! :)

I have only used the istick a few times so far since I only have single batteries to run in it.Will have to buy a set of LG's for it on payday. It is lighter and more ergonomic than the cuboid. and squeezing it to fire is pretty cool. The cuboid is my out and about and take to work mod right now,but the istick will take over that role.It also fits in a pocket much better.

Eleaf has such a tarnish to it's reputation, it'll still be a while living it down.

I've had several i30s and an i50 since early last year, but it still felt like taking a flyer trusting the 40TC last summer. It felt much better getting the removable batt i100 shortly after.

It does feel like they've got their QC ducks in a row now though. Fingers crossed, eh?

I think its because the Istick batteries are in parallel, while the cuboid batteries are in series. So a set of LG HG2s in the Istick will give you 6000mah.

Both battery setups have the same amount of watt hours in parallel or series only the voltage changes to double the output @KenD said this "In a regulated device series and parallel are effectively equal. Using two 2500 mAh batteries, in a parallel setup you'll have 5000 mAh at a nominal 3.7v. In a series setup you'll have 2500 mAh at a nominal 7.4v, half the mAh but double the voltage. As current is traded for volts, and vice versa, to produce a certain wattage, the amp hour capacity is identical.

5000 (2 x 2500 mAh) x 3.7 / 1000 = 18.5
2500 x 7.4 (2 x 3.7v) / 1000 = 18.5"
