glad to hear you likey... :)

I don't care for Ni and have never used it (requires WAY to low Ω's for me)
I use Ti 30g , and shoot for appx .5Ω - .6Ω around a 2.5mm - 3.0mm
in my hand now: Ti .43Ω @ 44w / 480°

this is where I got my roll, (he had 30g)
- Pure Titanium Wire - 100% Guarantee - Specific for Jewelry Surgical Grade 1 - You Pick Gauge 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32 - Unkamen Supplies

26g is as big as it gets here
- Titanium Wire (Surgical Grade 1)

I wanna try some SS (TC60 doesn't TC SS)
but in place of kanthal, just to try, but can't find a good place
to get 316 30g...

What gauge would be best for me? I vape 100% PG that is very thin and I vape for flavor only. Don't care about clouds. What do you think??? I mostly use 30g Kanthal now

that all depends on what HEAT range YOU are looking for

the SMALLer your wire is, the LESS wraps
so your coil isn't HUGE and will fit into a smaller space
if that matters to you

so a little math to determine where/what you want

you know of this site:
- Coil wrapping

always keep askin

In my Gems I use 28 or 30g around a 2.5mm nail easily without over-crowding. I vape the 30g at around 10w and the 28g a bit higher.

though now newer mods will allow it
most current mods WON'T let you go above 1.0Ω for TC

so your usable range is 1.0 - .15Ω (apprx)

I prefer WARM not HOT so I try to stay .5Ω or higher (my preference)

so using a Ω's calculator, make/choose your TARGET Ω and play around to find your
wire type / size / fitting / heat range that you like

guess it's been about 2½ months with mine and both are still preforming flawlessly
with serving hard-time as daily duty devices...

I just can't complain
