So no one having issues with this istick - so far?:D

I tried the Ti coil in the Melo? And just wasn't impressed with TC at all. I get a quick ramp up and then weak vapes. Maybe I got something wrong. Maybe it was a single vape on Ni then back to Ti? Or maybe TC is not for me.

However on VW, my Veritas, Derringer and Kangertech rba all hovering above 1.0 ohm are rocking solid power! I love the feel in the hand. The centered 510, the smooth stainless steel. Nice button nice display. All good. I am happy with the purchase.

Eventually I will try the Ni. I'm guess the melo tank is the weak part of this equation.

So with the 60 can you adjust the wattage in temp mode or is it like the 40?
In temp mode, the wattages adjust automatically, to suit the coil being used. When you switch to TC mode it starts our at 60 W but the wattages drop and if it exceeds the temp setting you have chosen it will come up with a message Temp Protection. Most good TC mods do this. I have been a fan of Eleaf since their inception. The 40W TC works ok but I do not like it as I cannot run my own battery and I consider the inbuilt one does not quite go the distance I like. I run the Aspire 18650 40A in all my mods and find it very adequate. I also have the Heatvape Invader Mini, which auto detects when you switch to Ni or a Ti TC coil, however the Heatvape IMHO chews up more battery power @ 50 W than the Eleif 60W at the same setting. I give the Eleif 60W TC a definite  and am  over it.

Christmas Greetings to all.

no, not like the TC40 (fix'd watts in TC mode)

with the TC60w - you can adjust the Watts while in TC mode...

hold TC mode button, then (+) or (-)

Just got this mod. I been using my kanger mini. So o got son gclapton ovc coils from atom vapes one box of .3 ohm vertical Clapton's and one set of .15 ni200 vertical Clapton's. The .3 work great in pwr mode. The nickel .15 read as .13 and not sure if I'm setting watts and temp correctly. Cause to get a good vape I seem to have to have it cranked to 60w and 520f. But I am kinda new to the hole temp thing any suggestions on the settings for the ni mode?

if it was me, I’d try to set TC Watts to 40w, then 50 watts-
go low on the TC ° and work your way back up…

so; TC (mode) 40w / 380°/// 45w / 420°, etc…

my thinking is: you have it MAX’d out (60w)
so when you push fire button it ramps up INSTANTLY
then Temp Control kicks in immediately, not allowing
ideal atomization...

you have fingers and the buttons are there, what’s it gonna hurt to try… :D

good luck (be sure to let us know)

As @pufZeppelin suggested, drop the wattage down to the 40-50W range when using TC and start with temps in the 450 range and work up until you get a satisfying vape. At 60W in TC mode the mod seems to "porpoise" on the power, making it give a surging vape. With the standard Ti and Ni coils I was running around 45watts and temps in the low 500's. Just make sure that you lock the coil resistance when the atty is at room temperature.

Don't worry too much about coils reading a bit off from their advertised resistance when hooked to the mod - there are a few other items in the chain that will alter resistance.

45w at 480f seems to be my sweet spot so far! Thx for the help! By the way I'm running efest 35a 3000 battery. I was using my 40a vamped 2300 battery but they die too soon in this mod. These coils from atom vapes rock!!
Backing off the the wattage was the ticket. Once you're in TC mode, the wattage setting basically controls how quick the coil will ramp up to temp. And you do want a little ramp-up time rather than smashing the pedal to the floor. Glad that you got it sorted out. :)

Well I thought I would report back - after finally figuring out how to use this mod I like it and plan on getting a couple more. I do not care to try the Temp Control option but do plan on making a few Subtank Minis using Bell Caps - then I will try the 0.5ohm, 1.2ohm, and 1.5ohm coils in them. This mod will work well I am thinking. I like the way this mod looks with the Tank in the middle and also like the shape of it in my hands.

@pufZeppelin - I ordered enough Kangertech Subtank bases and Bell Caps to make up 7 lol I like lots of color choices and tend to run at least 3 set ups at a time. Sooooooo - $23.33 for 7 bases, and $7.68 for 7 Bell Caps, and 3 sets of 5 coils for $26.71 for a total of $57.72 which is way cheaper and easier for my bad hands to use - less pieces to lose too lol.

Nope I bought the iSticks all by themselves.
I figured out I do not care for the minis lol - after all that,
so am gifting them to someone who will share with others.
I am such a picky taster and did not care for the cotton wicking.

OHH too bad, you didn't like the subtank mini (s.t.m.) (stock coils)
so guess you're not building your own coils (cotton vs rayon vs silica)

my subtank mini just gets better & better on the TC60W
just an IDEAL Set-up
s.t.m.-w/ bellcap - rba - tc60
I'm loving it...

I'm starting to get to like the Melo 2 that came with my TC60 also
...to be continued

Just ordered the iStick 60W TC in silver from VAPENW. Love the price and the way it looks. This will be replacing my 6 month old Sigelei Mini 30w that the fire button is starting to miss-fire. All Sigelei mods I have owned have had the fire button fail within 6 months. No more Sigelei for me...

How are these iStick 60W holding up???

Hello,
boy are you gonna be surprised
I think the TC60w is more than I expected, and for the price
FOR ME
, it is so comfortable, that center 'swell' JUST FITS PERFECT
magnetic doors, center 510, weight, simple controls...

guess going on 3 weeks and so far, so good-
the output power signal seems right-on, working good
battery life has been very good (not a gas hog)
I've tried TC on it, but mostly run in Watts mode
seriously considering buying 3-4 more (x2, wife also)
batt/Ω/V display is kinda small - but I set 'em and done...
I even put them in stealth mode set it-forget it
got the silicone sleeve, add lanyard, even tried the USB charge
it all is just a marvelous package...

hope to hear what you think when ya get it...

good luck
