The GS Air "Tootle Puffer" I ordered comes with stock coil so I can finally find out why and how you guys like them so well I have been reading about for a long time.

The pack of coils I ordered for it are nickel I would think and is why they are shown for use for temperature control.

I like the idea of temperature control FEATURE the new 40 has, i.e. NO MORE BURNT coils with the right nickel coils

This is mainly why I finally bought a gs air

PLUS i can also have a Tootle Puffer and join the group

i KNOW you guys are building coils for it I think, and I want to explorer this too

I have no idea yet if there are nickel coils for the Nautilus Mini?
Does the Nautilus mini take different coils than the Nautilus? If not, there are nickel coils for it.

However, I like TC tootle-puffing using my Taifun GT or Kayfun 4. Both clones...

I like that... ILeaf or Esmoka. Maybe JoyeSmoka. :) I would love to have your new job! How big is the Yacht? Do they need a welder/mechanic/electrician? :)
YEP lots of competition in the ecig market right now, which IS GOOD for us

This yacht is small for me, its only about 120 feet, but it is very famous for being one of the fastest yachts in the world and held the fastest yacht speed record for 10 years, Its called Motor Yacht Moonraker and was built in 1992 by John Staluppi Yacht Builder

I am a USCG Licensed Chief Engineer, and usually work on 50 meter and over super yachts as Chief Engineer, with a lower USCG license as Captain I don't use to much, I have been working professionally on yachts since I was just out of high school

Moonracker is a very special yacht currently in Italy, has a new American owner who hired me to be his Chief Engineer

They both use the same coils, there are only 2 different ohm coils for them and they are as far as I know not nickel ?

Or seen that I could buy.

I do not know if they make a nickel coil?

That was another reason I ordered a gs air today, they do have a coil for temperature control, therefore they must be nickel

Shawn Thanks So MUCH

from your information and link it looks like Vaper Shark has 4 or 5 different NEW ohm wattage TC coils for the Nautilus standard and mini

they are rather pricey but for sure available $17 plus or so a pack of 5 @ vaper shark

Not knowing these were even available and preparing going out of the country next Thursday I just ordered 20 Nautilus coils yesterday for my 20 and 30 watt iSticks and got them for $10 a pack

I will receive my new iStick 40 with TC Monday which is fast from Rocky Mountain Vapes, and with it will also receive the GS Air with TC coils

I happen to have a Vaper Shark near me in Ft. Lauderdale down the street so I guess you have made it easy for me to pop over and pick up a pack of Nautilus TC coils

I have never sub ohmed yet, and VS has several TC Nautilus different ohms atomizers available and not sure which ohm to get? I am not a cloud chaser and use fairly low wattage settings for longer time/battery on my iSticks

Thanks again for your tip about the VS Nauti TC coils very much!!!

Don't do what he says in the video on an iStick 40 Watt TC

You can't adjust your watt setting on the TC40 so you can't do what he says.... I set my SX Mini to where the power brings it just up to the temp I like without overshooting it. TC with PWM is totally different. I don't know if there is an advantage with the DNA40 with the adj. watt ability over the TC40 or not. It seems to me the TC40 is all that's necessary without having adjustable watts since after ramp up to temp it adjusts itself anyway. I don't like seeing temp protection. I would rather just keep seeing a temp reading all the way through the vape:2c: like on the SX Mini. Electronics are cheap so cost shouldn't be a factor.

So I will be ready to test it all in various configurations right before I fly to Italy

I wonder if I can vape ON the plane on an international flight to Rome??

You're right, you've got better prices (and choice) in the States, than over here..
If you need support while in Italy, drop me a PM ;)

I ordered a 40 W iStick today from Rocky Mountain, and a GS Air to test/use the 40s temperature control; my 20 and 30Watt iSicks are working fine with my 3 Nautilus Mini's, who knows maybe I will turn into a Tootle Puffer with the gs air with temperature control lol

I leave next Thursday for Italy for a new engineering job on a famous high speed Yacht, and figured its cheaper and easier to get my new iStick & GS Air shipped to me here in Ft. Lauderdale before I leave as I don't know how easy it is to get them or the cost in Italy and would rather be safe than sorry.

Its not reading right. When it says its emty it starts from 4/5 when I connect it to the charger...

Skickat från min D6503 via Tapatalk
That sounds like a unit that needs to be repaired or replaced under warranty...

Ive had the same battery charge indicator issue, as well as a few others, with 2 different isticks. Both we replaced by the vendor, although I was required to document the issue with pics/video. Kind of a pain, but it seems like most of the reputable vendors get the QC issues with these devices and want to make it right.

You never know I may do this

I don't think I need support because the 40 watt is brand new and I just received it & opened the box today

I think I will be at Overmarine Group S.p.A., and their yacht yard; Via del Porto 2 Viareggio, Italy 55049

I have been in Italy 2 times before
I was in Viareggio for a couple of days on another yacht named Motor Yacht Katya
and other places in Italy on Motor Yacht Magic

But do not know much about Italy because I was too busy working on the yachts, however I did spend a few days days in Rome site seeing The Vatican including the vatican Museums and St Peter's Basilica, the Colosseum and several other ancient sites in Rome before I flew back to Ft. Lauderdale

This of course was before I was a vaper and smoked stinkys, and I have no idea where good places for vaping supplies or juices are?

Where are you in Italy?

Home is some 30 miles north of Viareggio :) , but I spend most of my time in Milano for work.. When I'm not abroad, that is.
Nicotined juice is off the table these days here, our gov set an astonishingly high tax on it since last January, we're now forced to import it from abroad (or to fish it out of the freezer). Funny thing is it's a sales tax, so it only applies to juices bought locally, not if you import them.. Crazy. Other materials can be had from online shops, in Italy or elsewhere.
B&M shops are less common now, and the few left usually only have basic stuff at relatively high prices.
So you see it's complicated, as anything Italian I'm afraid ;)

Thank You so much for this information it is extremely important for me to know all of this

I normally make my mostly my own juices and bringing several 30ml juices I made, and a couple of others that are are 15ml, plus a couple of 10 ml just to try. So for the first month or so I should be ok, but later I guess I will have to order supplies and nicotine and flavors etc from the US I guess now.

I am surprised to meet you here in the forum and you don't live far from where I will be in Viareggio, and I think its wonderful that knows Italy and Vaping

I don't know if I will have a car to use? But if i do and get sometime off it would be nice to drive over and meet you! But Italy does have good pubic transportation,

I like Italians, they are usually very friendly and helpful and kind in my experience with them
