The 'Burgh, PA.
I've been waiting for a good deal on the VTC base kit.

The BEST price I've run across for the eVic VTC Mini (ie. mod only) is $44.90.

Joyetech eVic VTC Mini Box Mod - $44.99

At ecig.com the eVic VTC Mini PLUS the eGo One Mega is $41.80 (with code turbo ).

So...even if you have no interest in that Topper...save $3...buy the Mod + Topper...throw the Topper out the window...attach your current favorite Topper......

(They're OOS at the moment...but according to posts in the "eVic VTC Mini" thread they should be restocked by the week-end.)

A little OT but entertaining.

Lovely mishap this morning...

IPV2s / Kayfun4 was sitting on an angle in the front catch all tray of the car and just behind that are two cup holders. Well the big travel mug full of this mornings brew was not quite seated in the back holder and doesn't it decide to fall forward emptying it's contents into the front catch all tray. :censored:  :censored:  :censored:

I look down and there is the IPV2s half submerged in a tray full of coffee. I grabbed some paper towel and wrapped the IPV up for a good shake to clear the coffee from it's innards. The case was warm really warm and I was just waiting for hissing to start and it was going out the window, pronto. The heat was only from the coffee itself so I brought it into work for a full tear down and cleaning.

ipv2s-clean-jpg.490568

When I got it all apart there was only a tiny bit of coffee inside that came in through the USB port. Tore it all apart, washed the board and switches with electronics cleaner, dried it off and put it back together.

Installed the battery, fired it up and had a vape. Working Perfectly, I was lucky there. The IPV2s was shown running under water in a demo by P4U before it came out so I don't know if they made them water proof or that was just the prototype model.

All is good in IPV land, I doubt the iStick or the Sigelei would have survived the same fate.
Tonight's purchase will be an auto closing travel mug and to give the console a good bath!

Sorry guys just had to share! :w00t:

The new toy, eVic VTC Mini with the Taifun GS II in dripper mode.
I vaped it dry without burning up the Rayon, I like it!

Much thanks to @cindycated for the suggestion of the eVic!
Mine comes Monday. Good thing too, I dropped my istick 50w and now the screen doesn't work. It still fires but adds a little adventure to vaping. I'm selling the VT and the 50w will go into deep reserve.

I TOOK A CHANCE ON THESE COILS, I normally only buy verified factory coils.

I purchased 2 packs of 5 of these coils for my Nautilus Mini's for use with my 40W TC iStick
VapeOnly vAir-T Temperature Control Coil, Type N
From Heavens Gifts

Also used the $5 off coupon again

The cost/price is extremely low for Nautilus TC coils and they work good I think, and I will buy them again when I need more in the future

However, WARNING the first couple of hits on them only when brand new, using the mini they really suck, and taste bad until the 3 or 4 th hit or so. So you have to not take big hits into your lungs at first, just little puffs without inhaling !!!

But after that, the the coil quickly smooths out and are just fine with very good flavor and taste;

Therefor They actually work very well after carefully being broken-in and I would recommend them!

I am on my first coil the next one I will try putting a drop or 2 of juice manually inside the coil and report back

I have some of these...for me, they work well with the first tankful of liquid. With the second tank, the draw gets a little tight. And I've had 2 to break in half when I was taking the bases off to refill. That has rendered one of my mini's unusable because part of it is stick in the chimney and I can't get it out. :(

Hi Lynn,

They do work well, I am surprised to say!

I think you are tightening them a little too much when you screw them in. or possibly cross-threading them ?

I have had similar problems myself and not being able to remove the coil from the base and tank;
I have successfully used a small pair of slip joint/Channel Lock pliers, and or very small other pliers to gripe the coil and unscrew it when it got stuck several times, when I hand tightened the coil firmly

I do not understand how you could have had 2 coils broken in half, unless you are somehow over tightening them? or Unless they were somehow truly defective?

Hint on draw, put a dry cue-tip in the top of the coil and Lightly clean the gunk off the coil screen, this greatly helps draw and taste sometimes; use light pressure and rotate the tip around in a circle; than do again with another cue-tip: If you use alcohol on the cue tip and the screen let it completely dry before you use it

A clean dry cue-tip will suck juice up from the inside of the coil, and also clean the black gunk from the screen so its clean to the eye and looks shiny

I am still on my first one of these coils, and have been able to refill the tank several times over the last few days

I am about due to change the coil on my Nautilus Mini I use with my 30W iStick, and think I will try one of these VapeOnly vAir-T subohm nickel coils with my 30w iStick

I have never sub ohmed using my 20 or 30 W mini's before my 40WTC, and the cost of these coils is far cheaper than Aspire factory coils so lets see what it does with my 30?
