Have we determined that the 30W does not suffer from the "Phantom Button Push" like the original 20W did?

Firstly, I don't like that term as it seems to imply button was pushed without actually pushing it, kinda like BLS. PBP term has come to mean pushing the button and the mod NOT firing.

Ok, so, I originally had a couple of 20W that I used exclusively and they suffered from the PBP. At least once or twice a day.

Then I got a bunch of 30W and used then exclusively for a couple of months. Then got a few more tanks and had to break out the old 20Ws again. It wasn't until then that I started having the PBP again, but every time I looked at the mod I was using it was the 20W.

So I believe the 30W does NOT suffer from PBP. I was wondering if others are in agreement.

Nah. Both of the 30s I have do it now and again. (Well, one of the two is dead, so that one does it all the time now. ) Phil Busardo made a comment about that in his review of the iStick 30w too.

Doesn't bother me much, though.

I call it "Phantom Fire". <shrug>

I never liked the look of my silver iStick 20w for the same reason. The black looks great and so does the blue. I made a vinyl wrap for the silver one that improved the look a lot. Course now it's got a sillycone skin on it.

They have carbon fiber samples on ebay for about $3 for 2-4"X8" sheets but my iSticks all have sillycone skins on them (well all but one that I haven't used yet) so I never bought any. The carbon fiber looks really good.

My 30W always fires, but others report the problem. Might be luck of the draw like the button rattle.
