Yep I found a stainless steel washer that was perfect for a kayfun clone I had with a longer 510 on it. was thinner than a regular steel washer.

The istick 100W arrived in the mail today. Now I'm impatiently waiting for the batteries that I bought with it to charge :-(

I thought those were put into the well of the mod so as to effectively raise the pin higher, rather than onto the 510 connector of the topper? From the size in the picture though, it looks to be the latter? Maybe the picture is just wrong - the description says 6.2mm in diameter (<1/4") but in the picture it looks like roughly 1/2" in diameter.

I tried to order one some time ago and the shipping to HI was ridiculous. I forget exactly, but I vaguely recall it being upwards of $20 for something that cost less than a buck. I couldn't bring myself to buy one. At the time they didn't do USPS, though.

Jumpin', I have to admit that I don't quite understand your problem, perhaps, but I had issues with my shorty not connecting properly with my iSticks, too:

So I just got one of my spacers and I'm happy to report that the said spacer fixed the problem and I can now use my shorty on all of my batteries with adjustable pin (iStick 30 and Defender).

However, it may not work for you...

If you want to try a spacer, I suggest you email MadVapes and ask them to send you a few of those (they are tiny and get lost easily) in a regular envelope with a regular stamp--not as a parcel. I know that MadVapes has done it in the past for other vapers. Again, I can't promise you that they will do it again, but what have you got to lose? Just ask!

I got my 40TC today. I took the STM off my evic VT and I have to turn the temp up to 600f to get the same warm vape I get at 480f on the VT. That's a bit disappointing. My Lemo is comfortable at 460f as opposed to 410f on the VT. The Lemo is a much higher build though, 0.18 compared to 0.08 on the STM. I need to see how much nickel I can stuff into the STM RBA I think.
However, I am happy. I produces a satisfactory vape in a much more comfortable package than the VT. As beautiful as it is, I get tired of the VT's weight and sharp edges when carrying it around all day.

I accidentally dropped my Istick 30s in water and it has died a good death. Even after drying completely out - nothing.
So I need to replace it . I prefer the silver.
Many sites are out of stock.
I do recall seeing somewhere a link to a site that searches vape related sites for stuff. Thought I had bookmarked that but I guess not. Anyone have that link or know who has the silver in stock?

If it were me, I would use this as an opportunity to upgrade. The 40 is quite nice...

I had not thought about TC but - just in case I want to play with it.
I was hoping to find a 30w on clearance but that may have already happened and gone.

Sad as it might sound, a 30 on clearance will likely cost as much as a 40.
