I've stood all of my iSticks up side by side to compare their screens. None are as blue as pictured, but one of my 40s has a light bluish tint. The other 40 leans to yellow-green. The 20 also leans towards the greenish side. The 30 and 50 are whiter. It's possible it's a fake, but it's also possible that @Bikenstein has a camera with calibration issues.

Of course, they show up on camera as being closer to white which makes me question the calibration of my ocular orbs...
The top one is close to the tint of mine. I was usin an old 8.2 mega pixel Kodak. My new camera's battry door broke.

Now I am paranoid about my 40W TC. The display is not as white as on my 20W ISticks, but it doesn't look as blue as Bike's does. My fire button does feel kind of plastic-like too. I got mine from Rocky Mountain about a month ago.

Jingles, The US eleaf rep said they have a light slightly greenish tint, but defiantly are NOT BLUE
I have not looked at mine to compare in the sunshine, but mine look white, indoors using house lights
My eyes are USCG certified not color blind by Medical Doctor every 5 years for navigation reasons

I have a Rocky Mountain 40W also
re-tap on "the fire button" with your fingernails a few times and listen carefully,
its a suttle metallic sound, not plastic

But you cannot tell got sure what the outer ring is? plastic or metallic?

The outer ring does seem like it is metallic.

My 40W is working ok. I would just be upset if I found out that the genuine ones had better, longer lasting batteries than the fakes.

i wouldn't worry - and there's always some luck involved. i'll never forget how much better an aftermarket battery performed compared to the genuine dell ;)

The fire button still doesn't look like the ones in the ad.
