The biggest benefit for me is I don't get any more nasty dry burned hits. I chain vape sometimes and some wicks don't keep up well enough. Also I tend to vape a tank low before I fill it at times and occasionally get a dry hit that way. I like that I can vape a wick dry and change flavors without much carryover flavor. Claims are made that your juice and battery will last longer because of better efficiency but I haven't realized that yet. Also I don't get any noticeable flavor benefit but the vape is more consistent. In VW the longer your hit, the hotter the vape is. In TC it remains the same temp throughout the vape. In theory coils should gunk less and last longer as well as the battery life. I think better and cheaper TC coils will improve the experience and prove to be more efficient. Maybe even kanthal temp control will make it more popular but it looks like things are leanin in the direction of TC. Not just for cloud chasers.OK folks, I just found you (or rather, a friend said to come here) and I see this thread has 75 pages already, so get ready for a dumb question that no doubt has already been answered (but I don't have the time at the moment to read 75 pages). I have a little iStick30 and I tootle puff at 9-10 Watts most of the time. Someone told me I need to get an iStick40TC, so here's the question: What purpose does Temperature Control have and why do I need it? Thanks in advance.
