Possibly, but I think that would be too much of a freak instance in his build. Not if there's a slightly loose connection.
11 wraps of 26gHow did you end up with .08 on SS?
4 wraps of 20g?
I'd say part of the coil was possibly shorted to the base.
What are you building on?

11 wraps of 26g
What ohm is best to use on this?
Thanks
First... do you mean 0.8 ohm not 0.08?
You've possibly got something else wrong going on.
I can't make S-E show any simple SS 11 wrap as low as you're saying.
26g 3mm id 316L
i tested it on coil master
What exactly have you got?
SS type and coil ID size.
Can't reply easily as you posted inside my quote.
So you did mean 0.8 and not 0.08.
Or are you actually getting a reading of 0.08?
Because that would indicate some other problem, as I mentioned.
Just posting the fewest possible words across three or four posts doesn't help.
At this point I only recall you saying you got an "ohms too low" error.
Now we have some detail about your coil.
What about the atty?
Settings on the mod?
It's like pulling teeth.. I'll let someone else have a go and go back to the Games.![]()
Thanks
Using a Bellus atty
I can't adjust the setting because the mod won't accept either the atty or its coil
The reading of the coil master is .08
Is this too low for the Pico?
it is awfully close to the 0.05 min for tc and below the 0.1 for wattage mode.
I always run ss316 in TC mode but I rarely build that low, especially for the pico since that low of ohms requires a lot of watts. I have a 0.12 ohm dual coil twisted 26ga in my billow v3 plus I am running at 72.5 watts on my istick 200tc. I wouldn't want to run that hig of watts in a pico. I would suggest you build a new coil with higher ohms if you are going to run that tank on the pico. Thanks
What setting would you recommend?
yes, my dual coil twisted 26 is 8 or 9 wraps per coil to get that low.I agree completely with @Fozzy71. Besides what he said, I also doubt you'll get a very satisfying vape down that low on the Pico, even in TC, and even if it can technically accept a .08 in TC mode.
I'm still a little confused as to how a well-built SS coil is quite that low, too...

so you do mean 0.8 ohms and not 0.08? That should be fine in a pico.I used 26g 3mm coil, 11wraps
I used this as a guide and its spot on
Coil wrapping
Many thanks 4 the help
Is the center pin on the 510 post on the Pico spring loaded, or just magnetic (or both)? Has anyone had any negative issues with it?
