I use 22mm Kayfuns with no problems.

The Eleaf GS-tank holds 3ml and is 22mm. The Ego One Mega tank holds 4ml and is also 22mm. I have both. I use the 1.5 ohm coils in the GS-Tank and the 1 ohm CLR coils in the Ego One tank.

Thanks for the great suggestions….I was also thinking of Kanger Mini with the 1.2 ohm coil.

Hey gandy...I'm a MTL Tootle Puffer and recently got the GS-Tank + 1.5Ω coils.

I can't seem to get rid of the gurgles...

I tried 50/50 juice and 70VG/30PG juice, closed the AFC to 1 hole, opened the AFC completely...and tried 3 new coils.

I took the Wattage up to 11W...and the coil shorted.

What "Wattage Range" are you using with it???

Once it starts gurgling I find that the only way to fix it is to do a thorough "drying". Make sure there is no juice in the base and clear the coil by removing it and blowing firmly through the top while holding it in a tissue.

Once reassembled put a tissue over the driptipless tank and flick out any remaining juice.

ETA: I start at 12.5W the first few hours and then set it at 14W.

Closing the AFC ring will make gurgling worse. I sometimes start on 3 holes but mostly use it wide open.

Yeah, mine gurgles in the morning after sitting all night. It clears out gradually. I always leave the air flow all the way open. I should add that I don't have a Pico yet. It's used on my 5 volt passthrough.

I don't quite understand this. Did you get a message on the mod. A 1.5 ohm coil at 5 volts is running about 17 watts. I've never had any coil problems. I usually vape 70/30 VG/PG or thereabouts. I'm a DTL vaper so maybe that's why I don't have many issues with mine. I take long draws too, about 8-10 seconds.

Ah, thanks for the explanation. I like TC fine, but it doesn't suit most of the stuff I have to use right now. Also, I wasn't particularly impressed with the nickel coils I've tried from a couple diff companies. Afaik, Vaporesso only makes 0.9 ohm kanthal and 0.2 ohm Ni200 ccells at this point, but if they release some SS ccells in the future, I'll definitely want to try those.

Don't give up on the M3M. I've been carrying mine in my pockets and absentmindedly leaving it on its side on various pieces of furniture all week. No leaks yet!
Mine has been laying on it's side for about the past 4 days- no leaks. And if I go a few days without using it, when I get back to it there's been no gurgling whatsoever.

What if I wasn't into sub-ohm vaping or temp control….could I use an Aspire Nautilus 5 ml tank on the Pico….the diameter of the latter is stated as 22mm….has anyone fitted a regular tank that doesn't use sub ohm, TC,RBA or SS/Ti/Ni coils …I am looking for suggestions for something that is at least 3 ml…the nautilus mini is 2 ml…that's why i thought of the standard nautilus…has anyone tried this on the Pico?

The iJust2 tank holds 5.5ml and can use a whole bunch of diff coils. Most of those are sub-ohm but the Vaporesso ccell coils fit and the 0.9 ohm kanthal one might suit ya. I've been using em and they work well at a setting as low as 20W. Personally I prefer em at ~28-32W; great flavor, mucho vapor.

So I just got my Twisted Messes V2 RDA, (by Tobeco ;) ), in the mail. It doesn't come with the hex tool or extra airflow control ring, you just get silver or black, (with extra o-rings, screws, 2 drip tips, 1 adapter, and allen wrench), but the machining is quite well done, with nice threads throughout, and very clean posts and deck. The o-rings are gtg, with drip tips and top caps both sitting nice and tight, without being a PITA to remove. They even do the logos well, including a SN. :D I paid ~$13.50 for it and I gotta say I'm pretty damn pleased. How well this one's made also makes me "wonder" about that ~$70 price for one made by Wismec. :glare:

Here's my first RDA, on the trusty Pico:

Can anyone comment on the feel/texture of the main part of the pico? Specifically, is it that same metal feeling that the Istick20/30 have?

I have a really bizarre peeve about holding metal stuff. I may have to wait till the silicone sleeves come to the US. Looks like they're on the way.

Mine feels like exactly what it is; a zinc alloy with a smooth metallic finish. I never owned the wee iSticks, so I can't say exactly how it compares to those. You might prefer one of the solid colors, the paint feels like a thick enamel on em, and/or a silicone sleeve.

I got my Pico a few weeks ago. Fits pretty nicely in my hands. I have noticed a couple (well more than a couple) of times that I've changed the setting with my pinky finger (I hold the mod with the screen out - fire "trigger-finger" style and my pinky grips the bottom of the mod.) Didn't think I was putting any pressure on the +/- buttons, but apparently I do

It gets regular rotation with the Cloupor Mini+ and Evic VTC Mini. Other mods get occasional nods, but those are my three main ones these days.

Press the +/- at the same time and it will lock your power setting ;)
