In performance, maybe. I still much prefer the Pico for a reason or three; e.g. more secure battery without being a PITA to change, better 510 connection, easier to carry, etc.

Ymmv.

I like them as well, bought two. More comfortable in the hand then the VTC Mini, so my two VTC's are jealous seeing less hand time. The batteries are easy to change on both, granted the cap would hopefully keep out most water and won't fall off though I've had zero issues on the VTC.

As far as better 510, never heard that, they seem the same, can you explain more? Thanks!

Agreed, they are identical!
Just how I feel. The only difference being the Pico is smaller.

For me, your 3 main reasons you prefer the Pico also apply to the VTC Mini. I seriously don't see any difference in vape; just size. I have discovered that if I'm going out for an hr or 2, I'll grab the Pico but I'm not a fan of having to carry extra juice for the Melo 3. Anything over 2 hrs & I'll take a different mod out of the house with me.

I don't see any difference is the 510 between both devices.

Perhaps I'm wrong about the VTC Mini's 510. I was under the impression that it was the same as the RX200's, (I only own the latter), and the Cuboid's. The Pico has deeper threads on the 510 than the RX200 does, so I consider the connection better.

I just picked up an iJust2 tank to use with my Pico. :D 5.5ml capacity and it can use Vaporesso ccells or Triton coils. Well worth $13, imo.

I still have the M3M for the smallest carry configuration, (or the Twisted Messes V2 if I want to drip).

...with the device on. Doing the above with the device off will flip the display. ;)

... with the battery in. With the battery out, the device will... do nothing.

:p

Used to have a list of the click/press combos for the VTC, about six I believe.
They probably apply here as well, but I've forgotten half of them.

One of the reasons I like the Pico so much is how quick n' easy it is to adjust everything, just like the RX200.

From memory...

While on:
click fire 5 times: turn device off
click fire 3 times: enter mode select menu
hold fire and minus: stealth mode on/off
hold plus and minus: adjustment button lock/unlock

in TC mode:
hold fire and plus: lock/unlock atomizer resistance
click fire 4 times: adjust initial wattage in selected TC mode

While off:
click fire 5 times: turn device on
hold fire and minus: check remaining battery voltage
hold fire and plus: adjust TCR values M1-M3
hold plus and minus: flip display
click fire 10 times: check board temp in deg C
click fire 20 times: check current firmware version

Sounds like you got 'em all, and I'll take your word for the combos.
So many of my other maker's mods use their own for the common ones, I quit keeping track a while back. Never use them much anyway.

The most fun had to be screen flip on the VTC.
Hardly ever described, even more rarely used... it caught a few users by surprise.
Panic... and hilarity ensued. :p
Just kidding... well, not the panic part.

The most useful, without doubt... was the still, yes still, unacknowledged hidden Ti TC mode on the 40TC.

510 connections :

•the Pico has the '510' mounted INTO the device topcap

•the VTC has the '510' mounted to the control board and is a 'floating' fit
if you don't have the topper screwed down touching the base to secure everything,
the VTC 510 will be able to move...

Thank you for this. Was way more detail than I'd ever go look for. :p
As long as everything works as it should- I'm happy.
I seriously need to stop buying every lil mod that comes out. Since my P3 arrived, I've barely touched the Pico- it's like the honeymoon phase came & went within a week.

I'm absolutely loving the Pico, but I'm not noticing a different vape or battery life between this mod and my VTC minis.
both boards are made by the same company, so most differences will be subjective, assuming all the updates are current.

Can anyone comment on the feel/texture of the main part of the pico? Specifically, is it that same metal feeling that the Istick20/30 have?

I have a really bizarre peeve about holding metal stuff. I may have to wait till the silicone sleeves come to the US. Looks like they're on the way.

The white one doesn't feel like my other iSticks and it feels great. Not sure that helps.

. It'd not bad to hold but I prefer a small mod that's not wide. That's just me though as I'm sure others don't mind it. But price is good as seen here on forum. Like my small devices for use with shorty rta's. Looks like the new trend.
