Anyone bought any of the wraps for the pico? It looks like Jwraps and Mighty Skins both have them in.

I have a Pico coming in a few days and have had a wrap from Mighty Skins on my istick 30w since about 2 weeks after I got it. Just wondering if anyone has either for the pico and how they fit since the one for the 30w isn't cuttout arround the screen and fire button and I believe the pico would have to be.

I may have found a bug.

Like several others here, now and then I notice my wattage creeping down. I wonder how I do it because I can't make the Pico change wattage when sitting on a table, and when holding it, my pinky seems to stay away from actually pressing the buttons.

Today I locked the power. By the end of the day, it had dropped .3 watts. No idea how since I can't manually change it. I'm curious if it will drop more tomorrow.

Yeah, I've seen mind drop a tenth or two over the course of a day.

But untracked, 15-30 day delivery is over $4, with tracking over $6, so not as good of a deal as it seems up front. For a few dollars more you can get it in the US in a few days.
I thought it was a good deal...lol...until I flipped it to US currency and added shipping.

A firmware update, (which Joyetech puts out regularly), might solve this. If not, oh well. These are $40 mods and this bug is nothing more than a minor annoyance.

Ta-Da!

As of tomorrow, I will be joining the ranks of happy Pico owners!

Assuming of course that USPS delivers as scheduled.

Thanks! Yes, that's my girl Bebe the Bichon, she just went to heaven the day after Christmas 12/26/15. She was 19 years young. I miss her so much it hurts. I empathize with your missing them!
She is a beautiful dog. I genuinely am so sorry she is no longer here, to me they felt like a part of the family, I hope you are OK, or as best as can be at this tough time.

My eldest made it to a week before his 18th birthday, his name was Truffles (Yes, I named them when I was two lol), the Bichons were from the same litter, Bubbles and Truffles, and our Shih-Tzu,Sasha, was the only one in the litter, she was a tiny thing bless her.

Sorry to go off topic, I just remember my dogs with fond memories, and was sad to hear that @Heartsdelight Bebe was no longer with us.

Thank you for your kind condolences :) yes Bebe was my daughter & I loved her as much as I love my human daughter. Bubbles & Truffles are wonderful names! Bebe is Chinese for baby my daughter named her when she was 1 1/2. It means a lot that you are expressing your sympathies, even friends that are close to me didn't as well as you did!

You are spot on, got this mod only for $28. If you want or expect better accuracy then look at the $200 Vaporshark DNA200. It's BIGGER! Otherwise ENJOY the tiny PICO, does TC just fine with everything I've thrown at it.

Perhaps it's "refining" the resistance, and adjusting the watts based on the set voltage.

The included 0.3 head started at 0.28 and has been at 0.25 for a couple of days now.
Aaaaaand... it's back to 0.26 now.

:p
You don't set the voltage on the Pico though, so that can't be it.

Hey @pufZeppelin,
would you mind taking some side by side pics of the Pico and Evic VT?
I'm kinda curious about this little fellow.
@OhTheAgony
I'll see if I can make that happen (no promises)
maybe this will hold you over...

If you would then please. I only have an Evic VT so that's pretty much my benchmark and the other ones in those photos don't mean anything to me unfortunately. No rush though, whenever it's convenient for you!

Actually, we do in a way even when we choose our "desired" wattage output which is a calculated result of applied voltage against a fixed resistance. The mods will adjust as needed. But would they do so in such a small increment? Or to the wattage value?

Whether these ostensible "Variable Wattage" only versus the previous gen's VV/VW models will cause an issue here, I don't know.

Whether these will have a potential "refinement" issue ala the early VTC, I don't know.

It's something I only care about, or notice much, in TC mode where it actually makes a difference. But I've been using the 0.3K and another K build for awhile now and haven't paid it any mind if it's been happening on mine, it was fine in TC. But the question had been hanging for a day so I thought I'd throw that out there... though I'm sure I'm on the wrong track. :)

Mostly I need more coffee... yes, I was awake all night.

The power setting on mine only sometimes drops by 0.1W when the device reads the resistance of an atomizer I just screwed on. If I keep the same one on there all day, there's no change unless I make it myself.

Ymmv.

Yep. After seeing this I tested. It simple drops each time I put on a new tank, going back and forth between .4 and .5 coils. No biggie. Glad I know why though.
