It does make the Pico stand out as a seemingly better quality of mod from a look and feel perspective, and really solidifies its place as a great deal for the money. Hard to think of anything else on the market than can compete with the looks and features for a $30 or less price point.

Someone did weigh them, I want to say the weight difference was 3-5oz, the brushed being heavier.

I completely agree with you. The Pico is an aesthetically pleasing and thoughtful design. I like the way the battery faces down towards vent holes on the bottom, instead of towards your face. I paid $34, with the Melo III and shipping included. Seems like a great value to me.

Ah, there you go.
That means brushed silver body is also aluminum, plated the same as the top and bottom caps. Should be more durable than the anodized ones. Thanks.

I had/have the same issue. They were out of stock on the brushed silver I ordered (think the black was in stock) and are waiting for the order to be filled before they ship both items.
This is the reply they gave me when I created a support ticket:
I opted to just wait since I have a few picos and a few more coming from other vendors.
I ordered the brushed silver too... oh well I think I'll do the same as you and wait for it to be ready to ship it to me. Thanks Fozzy

If it's coming from China, regardless of the vendor, and what they say. It's best just to forget you ordered it rather than worry about when it might show up! I used to wait until I was drunk to make Fasttech orders so I wouldn't remember the next day, the package would show up and it was like Christmas, opening packages to see what they were!

lol wish I could like that post twice. I had to close my other browser with all my carts after filling them while drinking so I could review them when I was sober before pulling the trigger.... still spent way more than I wanted to.
A few years ago a couple friends and I were pooling our money to make a FT order, I'd filled the cart with the alloted price and they came over the next day to review it. "Man, you must really like this dripper, you've got four in the cart!" It took us a while to get it all sorted out as I'd see something I liked, then run across it again and add it. I learned then to keep orders simple when alcohol was involved!
I've also done like you, get to adding things here and there thinking "meh, it's not that much!" Until I add them all up, yeah my wife wouldn't be happy with that total on the CC bill! Even alcohol induced shopping can't override good sense when it comes to she who must be obeyed!
I get FT orders in 8-10 days. Stuff has to be "In Stock or "Ships Next Day" when you order it. Also upgrade the shipping for a few dollars, ePacket was quick to Canada but now DHL Global Mail is the fastest.
