I think you spend more time looking at the screen than you actually do vaping...
My current RTA on the Pico is the Vapor Giant Kronos, there is a 7/6 wrap, 24g SS316L, 3mm spaced coil in it. I have the Pico set on default SS, the power set to 45W and the temperature at 480F. Wide open airflow on the Kronos gives me a great vape that just starts to hit TP at the end of my vape (4-5 seconds). Turning up the wattage would just cause the Pico to hit TP sooner and throttle the power back more. Turning the temperature up would allow for a longer vape but there is the risk of a bunt hit from power vs juice flow. My temperature is always in the 420F to 480F range and power levels drop from the initial set point throughout the vape.
Preheat only works in VW mode. If you vape a build at 20W, try setting the Preheat to 30W for 1/2 second, you'll know if it's working as the vape should be hotter for that 1/2 second.
Some sites say the coils are SS316 and some say they are SS304. You might have to set up a custom TCR value of 105 for the SS304 and switch between the default SS & custom TCR to see which gives you the best vape.

Vaping with a 0.15 Ni200 now. Looking forward to try with the 0.5 coils I have got. TC rocks! Not the best setup exactly. Have ordered the Smok Alien 220W to solve it.

That's NOT "Getto", that's called "CUSTOM", and is usually expensive!

Good idea! A dremel can really fix everything.

A 510 extender gets rid of the need to dremel

Not advised to use any adapters in the 510 path if you want accurate TC. If you Vape only in wattage mode, it's not an issue.
These ones will not bother the TC as the screws are adjustable and they make solid connections.

The Kepler ones on FT are a crap shoot, you might get a good one you might not.
They work for me with TC on the Pico, DNA and G2, but YMMV.

It's not so much the connection, though obviously that's important, I'm talking about added resistance. You could check it out in Escribe in the test atty screen. Of course this only applies to DNA devices.
I don't see how adding 5mm of copper would cause that much of an issue with TC, providing the connections are solid and clean. All of my RTAs and RDAs have a different length from the face of the 510 screw to the post holes.

Thanks, but why does the battery cap have to come off first? As of now I don't do that, and there is no problem as I can understand.
When you create a flat spot on the airflow control to allow the atomizer to sit flush, you won't be able to just unscrew the atomizer without first taking the battery cap off.
Thanks, but I feel kinda stupid as I do not understand why, but I guess would have understood if I dremeled it.

I just recently lost my battery for my 6 month old iPico iStick that I got recommended in a shop while on vacation. I bought a new battery from a site that I've previously ordered ejuices from and a lot of my friends said it's a good site as well so I thought ''Hey what could go wrong?''. When I plugged it in with my vape it said ''Device too hot'' so I thought I must've broken my current iPico as the battery was brand new so I bought another iPico from the same site. The battery didn't work on it either and showed up as ''Device too hot'' so I contacted them regarding the battery and they promised to send another.
I currently have two new batteries (given to me by a friend who ordered too many), two iPico vapes and neither of the batteries seem to work in the iPicos. Both of them show up as ''Device too hot'' and I've used a trusty charger and a new one, both connected to my laptop while trying to charge them. All of the batteries should've been compatible with them according to the store.
Not sure what to do, they're sending a new iPico and battery so I can return the ones who doesn't seem to work but I'm not sure what the problem is. When I put the empty shell without an atomizer or battery in, it shows up with the max settings and wattage. When I put in the new batteries, it says there's batteries in it that are fully charged but won't light up because there's no atomizer. When I put on the atomizer, the battery is empty, the screen flashes and when it try to fire it up it says ''Device is too hot'' and if I change the wattage, it hoes back to what it was before the screen begun to flicker.
What should I do?
