Yeah I did, China FAIL! It is a very nicely made clone, the deck is even supposed to be real Ematal coating, unfortunately they cheaped out on the tank, chose to slide the quartz tank into the SS shell, and squirt a little silicon into it to seal it up, needless to say leaks like a sieve!

Geez. Sometimes trying to reinvent the wheel backfires. Hope you don't have wait for the slow boat...

I keep looking at this thing trying to figure out where/how they could put an eyelet on it to attach a wrist strap or lanyard!
I don't want them to gunk it up, it looks nice, I want to keep that, and I hate when mods hang lopsided.... and bounce!
I'm also thinking a connector spacer would give be room to put a loop under my tank to suspend it.
OK, I guess that means I'm just not ready to put it down, but I just need to be able to park it somewhere when I need 2 hands!

Definitely not. You don't want anything conductive in there as there's an insulator around the pin to prevent a short. Dielectric grease would be my choice.

I use a 1.8 amp BB charger and it doesn't even get warm.

I vote Dielectric Grease as well. I use it on all of the connectors on my motorcycle. It works great and should help hold it in place.

I'm Not Recommending this.

But a Person could Probably get on of those Camera Straps that end in a Small Cord Loop.

And then back off one of the T6 TORX Screws for either the Top or Bottom cover, Loop it around a the Screw and then Retighten it.

That, or get a Small Washer and just Squish it between the Washer and the Cover.

Or Even Drill a Hole in the Bottom Cover.

Thanks Zoidman, I hadn't thought of just unscrewing one or 2 of the screws. I'm taking a trip with it tomorrow and not in "try it" mode, but I just might. I have one of those. That's why I was thinking of a spacer. I'll have to look back at your dental pick pics and decide.;)
Hey, didn't you used to hang out in the modder's forum? Do you you remember which putty was conductive? I was thinking it was either plumbers or JB. Plumbers I think. It's insane to try to search that old stuff, but one of them was.

Something like that with a Bigger Rubber Ring would be Perfect.
I am using these on my Istick with great results.
I really like it. It's better than an ego and fits still around my neck. I do go thru a pile of juice but it is a great size and value. Oops- quoted the wrong post.
I use a genitank mini and the regular rubber rings that fit egos and evods work great as a lanyard. Don't know how to go back and quote the correct picture...

Good call on Not Trying to Mod your iStick right before you go on a Trip.

Not sure what Putty/Adhesive would be Conductive? I know for a Fact that JB Weld is NOT Conductive.

FAQs - JB Weld

What do you want to do that Needs Conductive Putty?

My Isticks barely get warm when charging with a 1 amp charger. Finish seems to be holding pretty well on my silver, the red/purpleish pink is to new yet to say much.

Was some interest in the build of the Erlkonigin, just rewicked it here are a few shots .26 gauge 1 ohm coil with KGD cotton cut at an angle perfect, simple build no low saturation/dry hits even when running high power, no flooding simple top filling great air flow. Has quickly become my favorite atomizer, flavor is best of all my various atties, including Kayfun, Taifun, Rose, etc. specs say 8ml capacity, haven't measured it, 32 grams super light!

As I previously stated this guy really is a nice match for the Istick.

I need to stop hanging out here. You guys know how to spend my money :p I just ordered the $20 version that was in stock from FT after looking at your pics and watching some videos.

I just got my #2 in Blue from the mailman. Great color. It's hard to tell from the pictures how it would turn out, but it's a nice royal metallic blue look. Loving it. For any guys that were on the fence, and worried about the Blue being manly enough...Man-approved.

I was thinking about picking up another one in blue. :toast:

Just thinking about making a spacer to take with me. It must have been plumber's, I thought I remembered you being over there. There aren't many of us left. I'm going to take my itaste and a mini USB passthrough along as backups, but I'm planning on the istick getting me through for 2 weeks with no hassle.
