New pioneer4you iPV mini... a little bigger, more powerful and pricey iStick?
But <$30 wholesale will probably keep this <$60 retail, depending...

2) resistance: 0.5~3Ω.
3) Output voltage: 3~8volt.
4) input voltage: 3.2-4.5V

6) 1* 18650 battery(replaceable).

8) Charging for Mobile Phone.

Chip from Yihiecigar, very powerful performance, but this mod is very low cost to get!

Buy some #60 o-rings. Slowly and gently lift up the 510 connection. Remove the crap white o-ring which is installed. Slide the #60 o-ring over the 510 pin and place at the bottom of the opening. Then slowly push down the 510 pin as gently and straight as you can......and voila! Fix done and it will work with all attys (at least mine does).

Sounds stupid but i prefer my istick now ive done this fix! Lol

I wouldn't do this so soon to a new iStick. It was a last resort to fix my MVP 2. It has worked fine ever since, but it requires a sweet spot on tightness, and the OHM meter is all over the place now.

I'm hoping that me keeping the ego adapter mine will preserve the fire pin for a while. I've had to take a screwdriver to the pin once, but it's been fine ever since. The ego adapter takes the majority of the abuse from the constant tank switching.

Thanks man! I passed the information to my buddy and let's see what he wants to do. Meanwhile, he "borrowed" my backup iStick is happily vaping away...

I'm fairly confident that they will drop down in price after this initial rush. Also, the smartvapes link that the other poster made is probably a better place to get it. $30 is a pretty good price point, and I don't see it dropping down that much more after that.

Replaceable battery is definitely a plus; I don't think the price will be low though.

Still, I wouldn't do that to a brand new device. If start using the adapter before it gets too worn, then maybe you can save it before it becomes a bigger issue.
And if you havent started using an adapter in time, or like in my case the adapter made no difference whatsoever. What should we do?

Stick it in a drawer for 6 months until its not new, then fix and use it maybe! [emoji1]

If the IPV mini displayed voltage correctly without being too much bigger, then it might be a big competitor to the iStick, but it has to be very price competitive. With iSticks settling at around $30 shipped, the IPV mini couldn't charge more than $40 if it wanted to stay competitive.

The IPV mini looks like an iStick clone, but at 94mm x 40mm, it's 3.75 inches tall x 1.6 inches wide, which is basically on par with the MVP. If I was going to buy something that big, I would just wait for the MVP3 and the proven Innokin brand.

Not sure why you're getting so defensive about this. I'm just trying to help, and so were you. Let that person decide how they want to deal with the issue and just provide him the information. I said the O-Ring thing would probably work, but I've never done it on an iStick before so I can't verify. Just wanted him to know that it won't be completely perfect after the repair.

Definitely. I think the price will stabilize fairly soon. Funny thing is that my buddy just emailed me back and said,

"Great! Thx for the links. Why don't u go ahead and order another one. Ill swing by tonight and give you the money for MINE"

So my backup iStick I lend to him is now "HIS"......

I saw that iPV Mini last night while doing a Image Search. Reminds me of a Square ZNA30.

I like the Replaceable Battery. Would like to see some Actual Photo's vs CAD Solids. And of course, would lke to hear some Feedback on how it Actually performs at the Low Wattage settings.

I got mine on sale from rock bottom here. $33.95 + $2.50 flat rate shipping, had in in 2 days. Not shabby at all! Of course, transit wise it helps that I'm in the same state! ;)

Thanks for the info on this.
I just ordered my second istick from this site.
The least expensive found on ebay this morning were from vapeoutlet - $34.99 for the istick, cable and adapter + 9% sales tax to CA. The colors available are black and blue.
I wanted another silver.

This coupon for 5% off worked - OCT514 - bringing the cost down to $32.75 + $2.50 shipping = $34.75.

This full kit includes:1x iStick 20W Device,1x USB Charging Cable, 1x 1 Amp Wall charger, 1x eGO Thread Connection Adapter, 1x User Manual
Black, blue, and silver are shown as in stock - no red.
The site charges 6% sales for orders shipped to Florida.

So a good price. We'll see how long the shipping to the west coast takes.

Agreed. The iStick wil settle to $30-35; the iPV mini $55-60... This is perhaps the iStick v2+ that some have been requesting; the big brother. It is NOT tiny. It's bigger than the VS rDNA. That's a deal-breaker for me...

Looks more like a rDNA competitor but VS is coming out with the 40 so not really.

A complete observation from a non-technical person. I have only two devices... the istick and a Kamry X6 (which is an ego style VV battery, 1600mah). I actually vape a lot longer on the X6, 1600mah battery. The display on the istick must be a significant battery drain? Not complaining, as I can generally get a full day of vaping from the istick......just thought I'd get longer battery time than the 1600mah battery. Oh well, I'm generally pretty happy with it.
