584 on my phone :D

The rdna 40 ( vaporshark, yes?) does look small, but boxy. From the glimpses I saw in pbusatdos video with... Whatever his name is from evolv, the new dna 40 opus looks more hand friendly, nd just as small

Whatever his name is? Brandon. The Brandon.

Oh, and can't help in the 40 watt department, but what about 30 watts in an "istick"?

Hi All,
I use PT 2's and now have to leave the bottom attached to fill tank when I fill juice.

Why would you remove the base to fill juice? I always leave the base on to fill the juice and to change the atomizer. Maybe that's why all (4) my isticks still work great.

Katdarling my love the only reason I say DNA 40 is I want that temp control... I'm really excited about that, from a safety standpoint. If china can clone the temp control (properly) I'll he all over anything they do. I'm running a bottom fed mech right now ( the Sumpin) and the only reason I am even looking at regulated is for safety. I actually bought the I stick ( I say bought- I had ebay credits) was because I'm taking a flight soon and didn't want the risk of having my $500 mod and atty confiscated. :(

As an annoying post script, I still haven't received my I stick. Used that vape outlet vendor stupidly ( had only gotten to page 200 at that point)

OMG it does not make sense to me. Maybe I am tired. Do I have to learn all of this or can I just set it where it taste good?

Absolutely you can!

The Istick display is not "wrong" - just calibrated in mean volts rather than RMS.

RMS is a better way to calibrate a device because it better approximates for an AC waveform what a DC voltage would do.

The Istick will happily maintain a nice, steady power level once you dial in the sweet spot for your setup. The only place you would notice an issue would be if you changed to a coil with a different ohms and expected the VW mode to maintain the same vaping feel. The VW mode should be able to do this on an RMS device - in theory. In practice, you would likely tweak the wattage with a different coil/juice combo anyway, for other reasons.

You just may have to tweak the wattage a bit up or down if you change coils. No big deal.

Best,

Don

Unfortunately, the "just adjust to taste" theory doesn't work for those of us who prefer lower settings. The only topper I have that I can use on my Istick is my full sized Nautilus. And that is with the Istick at 6.5 watts for the same flavor that I get on my MVP at 9.5 watts. The Istick just won't go low enough for the flavor I like from my Davides or either size of Protank.

so hey hey, wanted to weigh in on this thing...i absolutely love it. i use an igo-w on this with a 1.4-1.5ohm singlecoil and its heaven. you dont even need anything else, tho i guess if you wanted a tank in specific thats another story. this thing is so great for dripping, and i can get by with 1.5ml of 6mg a day on this thing, its super, super efficient. ive used the little boy rda on it, and theres a tiny little gap, but i bet i could adjust the pin and get it to sit lower, i just dont want to mess wtih it at all and stress the connectors and i leave the igo-w on it. i ordered two more isticks, and ill say i went for this because my hana went up. im glad i did! with that 1.4ohm coil, i can run it at 6.9w, or 7w and thats more than enough for me. dont even need to charge once a day. give it a try sometime.

"The Brandon"

Worst video ever. How about a little set up before recording and tell her to stop changing levels and swinging the thing around all over the place. And learn how to focus. When they tried to show the display, the split second it was in focus, it was upside down.

I hate devices trying to be all-in-one. I don't need a flashlight or "power bank" to charge other devices. The 20 Eleaf watts is more than enough for me. If it's built more solidly than the Istick at a competitive price, I'd be interested.

Mon cher ami, Maître-de-Rien <little kissy noises here), I understand very well the desire for the tech of the DNA40. But having seen that video, how could I NOT share it with you (all). "Wary huge Waper", and as KTM so observantly noted, the lack of focus and the lack of panning, coupled with the upside down screen shots..... welp, it was just all too good not to watch again! (and again!)

Disagree, KTM...... "Best" wideo ever!

Oh puleeze. I think many of us would get that..... JUST for the flashright.

(I better stop now, eh?)

Do eeet! Take one for the team! I'd love to know if these are 5 times better than the currently manu'd ones. But then again, you would not be able to do that comparison, now would ya. ;) C'mon Katyaaa, just go for the fiberglass and all. ;)

For the team, eh? :D

Not until I hear back from Aspire. Now it's personal. Now it's war. I sent them 3 emails and I posted on their forum--my post is still "being reviewed by their moderators." I have a feeling that it's not going to be allowed. Even though I was very nice--promise.

War I tell you.

Yup, I just saw another thread--poor new vaper couldn't figure out why all of his Evods and T3s and PT2s tasted burnt on his iStick...
