I used to vape about 2ml a day. Now its closer to 7! I think its a combo of having a better device that I like using - its comfy and works well and I love having it in my hand - and I'm getting juices now that I like so much better now. Better quality juices and I've narrowed down what I like.

Flavorful juices that I can actually taste, in a device thats a pleasure to use means I'm vaping a heck of a lot more than I used to.

Joyetech rep has apparently "mentioned" to a vendor/supplier about a Kayfun adapter / insert for the eGrip....if they come out with that then this will be a popular PV.

For those talking about not wanting to buy more expensive coils, i am one person who has fantastic luck / experience with joytech coils, both dripping atties and the Type A......going on 5-6 weeks on "one" most usually, and I vape high VG.

So, I'm going to assume that their new coil for egrip is going to be pretty well made. Dunno, haven't tried one yet. :)

It's being reported one eGrip coil can last several weeks. I dont know about that yet.
They're pretty pricey though but I went ahead and bought 2 /5 pks.

Here ya go Race. This is what they look like.

I had this nauty mini as well as the regular glass tank. This one took a tumble down a flight of stairs. The iStick faired perfect. The "protected" mini tank, not so much. The glass still broke despite the protection :-( Instead of paying $10 for a replacement, just going to go with the Silo for $15 and get a full tank/base and not just the tank top.

New "crystal" looking one? Oh please do share. The only metal sleeve for the Naughty Mini I've seen is

Has anyone found a fix for the burnt taste that seems to pop up with the istick+naut mini combo? It's weird that it just started this far into it's life. Would greatly appreciate suggestions; it's driving me bonkers. I could have a bad batch of coils, but I dunno. Also, it's happening with both of my sticks, both with different naut tanks.

Also, lowering the wattage from 10 (where it never used to happen before) to about 8 doesn't seem to help that much. It just sort of comes and goes randomly.

I find this a strange phenomenon. I can be vaping just fine then out of nowhere, dry burnt hit.
Reading your post made me think about this -- I've read for the eGrip when this happens to crank the wattage up to 20 then dial it back down to whatever wattage you had it set at. This same thing *might* help for the iStick- I just havent tried it yet cause I forgot about it. LOL!

Are there any coupon codes for Sweet Vapes? I'm about to order a few bending adapters, would be nice if there were any available discounts.

Yeah, with shipping that thing is more than 1/3rd of the price of a new iStick. It needs to be less than $5 to be worth it for me.

I've had some new juice that I hadn't tried and decided to try my mini Nauti again. (Hadn't used it in a week or so since getting burnt hits) Put in a new coil, primed it, wow, this is pretty good juice! I didn't get 6 hits and it was burnt! Yuck! Nasty! Then I decided to put the mini on my ohm reader, 1.88 ohms hmm.. wait, what the f... 4.44 ohms??? Did it again, same thing, it first reads 1.88 then changes to 4.44? Then checked my Kayfun, reads fine. I'm guessin if the iStick is reading 4.44 ohms it's crankin up the voltage and burnin it? Has anyone read in other threads about bad BVC coils? I saw Drysprocket's havin the same issue. I'm not havin the issue with my Kayfun, although I find myself wondering a lot, does this taste funny, is it too hot? Damn nauti's got me spooked!

It could very well be the coils, I've had some bad batches of BVC's before, but I thought I found the right vendor. My testing will begin (I actually track where I get them from now and write them on the box)

Also, I hate all of you that started talking about Silo Tanks. I just ordered the Big, the Light, and some Aspire BVC (non nautilus) This hobby is costing me a fortune, and I blame all of you. Those cool signatures that show how long you've quit smoking, and how much money you've saved....mine instead would list the debt I've accrued.

Check again! I ordered: Aspire Nautilus BVC Replacement Heads and those fit both the Nautilus and Mini. It's kinda near the bottom of the coils section, if I remember correctly. Sweet deal, so thanks to Ryan from me as well!

I couldn't find them on the coil page so I used the search function and found them, but, the price listed was $0.00 ???, so, I added them to my cart anyway and the price (11.95) appeared! Looks likes they made them hard to find for some reason? Bought 3 packs but the discount only worked on 2 packs so I changed the order to 2 packs and ordered some DIY stuff and everything went through just fine. My Thanks to you and also Ryan.

I don't know, I'm getting fluctuating ohm readings on all of my Aspire and Kanger tanks. The wild readings don't happen on my other VV/VW mod (iTaste VV) with the same tanks when I switch them over.

I love the form and function on my iStick but the battery thing is enough to make me break out the "Varis again. The battery had to be charged so there is no choice there. I'm not accustomed to having to stay mentally alert while vaping so naturally I forgot to lower the Volts. I currently have 2 KFLs to rewick because I burned them to a crisp using my iStick after charging. Is there a way to decrease the battery charge (besides using it) to get it to put out the expected power? I'm waay past the "empty and rewick" phase of KFL use and find the iStick very annoying due to the AVG instead of the RMS.

Do you mean the voltage is different after you take it off the charger, from when you put it on?
Mine doesn't.
Turning it on, 5 clicks, displays the setting.
The up or down displays the settings when it is asleep.

Dry/burnt hits only occur when your topper device isn't wicking fast enough. As has been mentioned in this thread before higher percentage VG liquids increase the likelihood of poor wicking. You can slow down your time between draws, take power-off primer puffs to draw juice in, back off the voltage/wattage or decrease the percentage of VG.

No......the battery is tuned for AVG instead of RMS which means that until the battery drops some charge the hit is Very strong and unpleasant even turned down to minimums. This has been thoroughly discussed all over ECF. Anyway.......

I have had no problems with my Kayfuns or Erlkonigin on my iStick. They're brilliant. All my RTA builds are around 1.5Ω. I generally run them between 8 & 14 iStick Watts (3.5-4.4 Vavg). Depending on the charge state of the battery, this dissipates between (a real) 12 & 17W at the coil. I can run the RTAs all the way to 20+W if I wick them correctly.

As for the dry-hit problems... I had to constantly remind myself that bottom-coil clearos and RTAs are vacuum devices; i.e. they use the vacuum created by our puffs to feed the juice to the wicks. If we have adjustable air-flow control (AFC) and start experiencing drying, we can tighten the draw (close down the air-flow) a little at a time until we have full-flavor again. Without AFC, we just have to puff a little harder for more vacuum and better juice feeding. Normally we could simply back off the volts/watts a bit. But if we're already at 3 iStick Volts, we have little choice.

ETA: I personally don't like having juice feeding tied to air-flow. But that's where we are currently with bottom-coil devices...

Quick question...

Mine's fine but my brother had an isick and a Mini Vivi Nova come apart in his pocket (I know, I know. He's an idiot.)

So he took it to a B&M (a stupid one) and they only had one 510 tank and it read "No Attomizer" when fired. Does it read that if the pin is too low? Could it have been a sub-ohm coil?

Not sure what that means.

I believe No Atomizer message means that the device cannot tell that their is an atty attached which would indicate that it is not touching the pin. I think it reads "LOW atomizer" if the coil is less than 1ohm.
