I've already posted how much I like the Erlkonigin on the istick, it just got better! Perfect size for the istick!

Details, details, details please provide details. I really want to get an Erl just don't know enough about the different setups. Please realize I had issues getting my R91 setup with top fill cap. I would like to avoid those same mistakes. The Erl mini/nano looks great

I've ordered the VS DNA 30 and hopefully it will be here by the end of the week. The iStick is burning up 3 ohm cartos like crazy so now I have rationalized the purchase of the VS . I feel like mine is overpowered past the point of it being mean instead of rms. The same cartotank and juice burns almost instantly at 6 watts on the iStick but will run just fine on an MVP set at 8 watts. I've started using a Davide with Aspire BVC on the iStick and it seems to be ok, though.

You're absolutely right about build quality, for both chipset board and the mod itself, and guarantees applied. But it has a price to be paid, *******Oops!, rDNA HAS replaceable battery....my bad!**** actually two: double price tag (under the special offer) and just 1200 mAh battery capacity. And it is not replaceable under daily circumstances.

As always, we want all, we want it now, and we want it cheap (but not without quality)..... We want too much!.....

Once we return to firm ground, it's about compromises. The iStick was far from the ultimately device after knowing its flaws, but even after that for many it has a balanced compromise between desirable capabilities, mostly because its size, form factor and battery endurance. Then we ask for replaceable batteries, a well built 510 and real wattages... but below the $100 price tag. Someone saw the opportunity (actually, a lot of Chinese manufacturers, according to YouTube....:)) and they are working against the clock to provide the new ultimate device, again, based on size and form factor.... and price tag.

This is becoming interesting. I do not know if it is better to watch it calmly seated with a good vape or just pulling something toward Christmas......you know, some PayPal account....

The istick certainly has opened up the eyes of many vapers to the world of box mods, due to its form factor, features and price. Now we're witnessing the scrambling of various manufacturers to compete with it. This is telling me to wait, wait, wait.. until the dust settles before jumping on the next best thing. I'm extremely content with it as is. I was fortunate enough to buy 2 isticks that weren't made on a Friday and are working just great. Running it with a nauti mini seems to take the stress off its obvious weaknesses.

Its just an Erlkonigin clone with an authentic Erlkonigin Nano kit, holds about 3ml of juice, works great, is a thread here on ECF dedicated to it almost as large as this one, many tips/pictorials on how to build it, once you get it down its a tough one to beat.

Despite its known flaws my iSticks are my favorite devices, and I own more than a few including Semovars and Provari's including a P3. For me the form factor, battery capacity and ease of use are unmatched when paired with the right topper.
My sentiments exactly, have been using mine fulltime without any problems at all.

Rebuilding on iStick, I've never given it any thought until a friend came over last weekend. To me, slap a tank on the iStick and I'm ready to go to work or head out, the RDAs stay home with the mechs. He's only using iStick and MVP2, and interested in dripping. So I lent him a Plume Veil clone and showed him a few tutorial videos to get started.

Well, he was impatient. He went to the store and bought some 28 gauge Kanthal wires and some Japanese cotton and built a single coil. He came over tonight, complaining the build was not producing consistent vapor, and there are intermittent dry hits. He set the iStick to 16 watts, and the coil registered a 1.6 ohm. Shouldn't be any problems, so we removed the building deck:

It looks like the coil doesn't provide a lot of surface area. Removed the coil:

Since he's already bought 28 gauge wires, need to figure out a build that can use it. Decided to build a twisted 28 gauge coil instead, 9/10 wraps around a 5/64 drill bit, not the best coil I've built, but should work:

The coil registered a 1.1 ohm, just enough to make iStick happy. Test fire:

Wicked with Japanese cotton:

And then added some juice, before I could take a photo, he got impatient and started vaping. A 3-4 second steady draw produced a dense vapor and according to him, with good flavor. So I guess the build worked.

Oh, and the sweet spot? 3.3 eLeaf volt which comes to 9.9 eLeaf watts! Yes yes, we all know iStick's power output is a sore point, but hey, we have another dripper joining the ranks, that's all that matters, right?

I just got an email from ecig.com that they will have the IStick for $15.99 this weekend-battery only. The problem is when I went to their site, they had none in stock. Hope they get some by Friday!
I signed up but did not get the email, yet. Did the email you got from them give a coupon code needed?
THX!
