Wow, I just got this thing on saturday and now it's trash?

Even with no atomizer in place it says "Atomizer Short". All I did was unscrew my rda build a new coil and put it back on. Really bummed out.

Edit - second device that's went to crap from having a nonadjustable 510 pin. What a waste of time/money.

Let me guess... A Magma?

You've compressed the 510 pin, which is now grounding against the sides of the connector.
Replacing the stock insulator with a #60 o-ring will solve your problem.

AldenF - Marquis RDA. Seriously, it's just the insulator? The white insulator looks intact and fine. I'll buy a #60 o-ring tomarrow and see if there's any improvement. I wrote eleaf an e-mail. I hope they are willing to replace the item, it lasted about 24 hours total.

I've experienced some looseness with one cord of mine. It would just slip out easily. I just checked it and it seems to be fittin right today??? It fits the VV3 too the same. So I guess I don't have a problem. Just wondering why the cord previously was slippin out. No problems with charging other than that one cord.

I have had no issues thus far charging my 30watter. It even charges fine with cables my DNA30 clone and cell phone don't like.

I did reinforce the USB port to the PCB with a bit of epoxy, within days of receiving it. Don't know that it's necessary. But I'd rather be overly cautious and proactive than complain about a busted USB port (like my first 20watter).

I just realized, it might be the silicone case actually; preventing it from plugging in firmly. Experiments will be done.

Bikers, I have the opposite situation. The USB cable plug does not fit on a couple of my 'Sticks. It goes in about 3/4s of the way. On the 30w, WITH silicone cover, (got them yesterday..... YEAH!), it's perfectly fine.

Take a look at the 510. I can't imagine what else it might be, unless a solder joint has failed and maybe a (semi-)loose wire.

Of course, if you can get Eleaf to RMA it for you, that's the best course of action. The entire 510 setup on the 20W is just begging for problems. I'm glad Eleaf got their act together for the 30W.

I believe you only worry about the insulator on the Rebuildable decks. The nano does not have that.
