Considering a 30w Istick, but I'm undecided on a tank. Keeping my Protank II minis might drive me insane, because I'm miserable at rebuilding the coils. And they sure seem to suck those coils right to pieces.

I hear the Nautilus has nice coil life. I'm sort of lost right now. Would like to avoid buying a 5 pack of coils every week or two.

I want a design that doesn't use a wick, it just shoots a programmable adjustable shot of juice ( 1-5 drops) in a preset temperature adjustable heat chamber that instantly vaporizes the liquid and auto reloads for the next shot. Adjustable from semi to full automatic with optional forced air output. Capable of delivering up to 10 hps (hits per second) with a pressure relief valve to prevent blowin a lung. :)

Edit: And works on my stick 30
Add hands free to this and I'm all in. Maybe a hose from the atty to my mouth and automatic fire when I draw.

Does anyone use a Protank II (or mini) with single coils on their Istick? I'm getting a bad case of Istick shiny-itis, but I love my Protank II Minis. From what I read if I keep rebuilding the coils at 1.8-2 ohms, it should be alright.

I use an aerotank with the single coils for the PT 1,2 on the istick 20 with no problems.

Wow Kat you are my idea of a fantasy vape-girl. No fear, rip the cloths off that iStick and fix it. :)

No fear. Rip the stick.

Good stuff, Kat. After losing the USB port on my first iStick, I reinforced the ports on my second 20W and 30W with dabs of epoxy. A bit of hot glue would also work. I believe the USB port to be the biggest Achilles Heel on the 30W. Every other problem from the 20W seems to have been addressed. That being said, few people have posted complaints here about charging issues. So being gentle with the USB port is probably sufficient.

Thank you alden, but you and the mud are going to be severely disappointed. I was not the one who did that. I wouldn't know hot glue from a hot roller. If I can't fix it with a nail file or a toothpick...... I'm out.

(having said that, I sure wish I'd tried this one. Bet I could bend those tabs with the best of 'em!)

Amen.

And the next wave of tanks and atomizers should be focused on poor normal, mouth-to-lung, reasonable wattage vapers.

Risking redundancy, AMEN back atcha Katcha!

Wow. I couldn't agree more. Of course, this all depends upon us. If we support the former with our vaping dollars, then more companies will follow suit. Take a look at what the 20W iStick started. If, however, we jump on the 100W+ mods, that's what we will see more of. Capitalism, pure and simple.

With the advent of all the new sub-ohm clearomizers, 50W will be the 15W of a year ago; the new de facto standard. What these new attys do is allow those with no interest in rebuilding the opportunity to experience, at 20-40W, what builders were experiencing in their RTAs, at 10-15W, a year ago.

This is no small thing. A far majority of vapers have no interest in rebuilding. But they want the RTA experience. The SubTanks, Atlantic, Melo, Delta II, etc all make that a reality. These new clearos also allow those whose lives/situations get in the way of rebuilding the opportunity to enjoy an exceptional vape. This is revolutionary, folks; a hassle-free, exceptional vape. The only cost to us is new mods, new attys, more e-liquid, replaceable heads and battery life. 4400mAh+ setups will be almost a necessity or we carry 2 or 3 spare 18650s around with us throughout the day.

I predict that we will see more, smaller mods designed with LiPo batteries as 2015 progresses. With YiHi's new USB balanced charging board now on the market, I also predict more 7.4V, dual-series (2S) mods coming to market without the concerns of the "stacking effect".

It's definitely an interesting time to be a vaper. It's also a very bad time to be afflicted with shinyitis.

This, so true. And likewise, if the new de facto standard does become 40+ watts, that will leave many of us out in the cold, as you noted. I am holding on to my kartos, yes I am. Even with bricks of them stashed away, I ordered more today.

Our purchases DO create the future markets. I only ask (plead) for a fair shake at some of the older tech, and low wattage vape.

As you so wisely pointed out, there is a cost to this new tech. And that's pretty high in some respects. I don't look forward to carrying around 2 or 3 18650 batts. That's looking quite backwards to me.

What is the YiHi board? How does that work? Talk to me like I'm 5.

Twerkin on that now! :)

(you've been to the party today, mud?) ;)

Maybe 10 hps would be a little overkill. 6 max should be enough. An adjustable cold air intake for controlling cloud temperature would be a good feature too, as well as having a dual, triple or quad tank for multiple juices. That way you could have your rotation in one tank and just select your flavor of the moment. Or set it to auto rotate and cycle a different juice on every hit. I'm gonna wait for the clones :)

Add hands free to this and I'm all in. Maybe a hose from the atty to my mouth and automatic fire when I draw.
:p

Why not a hologram imprinted on ones lower forearm? That would shirley meet my stealth vaping needs.

"Vaping?? Heaven's no. I felt a sneeze coming on." ;) (I suppose I could fake the exhaled "AH CHOO!" and blow out the vapor, no? Keep Kleenex handy. I can just about guarantee no one would ask to see the proof.)

Many of us still use Cartomisers regularly. 75cents per- mine last 2 weeks.

I just got my iStick 20W from http://www.vapor-makers.com/Batteries/VV-VW/iStickBattery (Edit: sorry linked to wrong supplier) I included the link because for some reason the store is hard to find even on google). I actually ordered a battery only version and they sent me the full kit with the charger and everything, free 3mL butterscotch juice, with 2 day delivery. I really have to say, I am happy with that store and will be ordering again. I wanted to post that in the supplier forum but I'm not allowed to make new threads yet.

Anyways the device is great. I watched pbsardo's review on it and he gave it a thumbs down, but for the price it's great. I was getting the battery short indicator with one of my RDA's, but all I had to do was put a little o-ring around the 510 pin and now it makes a great connection. It vapes better then the clone DNA20 I was using to spite it's using mean rather then RMS. Love the small form factor, it's cute. Nice buttons too. This will be a great back up device!

edit - I guess what I am trying to say is, I won't be buying anymore clone mods ever again. Eleaf is affordable and they make quality stuff given the price range.

    Don't you think that's a little extreme? :)

You know the thought has crossed my mind that it would be nice to have a tube similar to what he is describing hooked to a iStick in the shirt pocket operated by a draw switch like the ole ciggalikes. You know for those times when you got a tiger by the tail and need both hands. :vapor:

If you're considering spending $20+, take a look at the new SubTank Nano. Utilizing either the 0.5Ω or 1.2Ω heads should run wonderfully on the iStick 30W. The 1.2Ω head will offer the greatest range for the lower wattage vapers. In addition, they use Japanese organic cotton for wicking material, which many find preferable to the ceramic/silica wicks found in the BVCs and BDC heads from Aspire and Kanger.
