it's my 20, mud ;) i haven't liked that feel of the usb port for a while now. preventive maintenance might be in order :D

oh ok, my bad. By all means that is a pretty easy fix. Even if it needs the connector replaced bet we can find one at digi-key. Let me know if you can't find anyone close by to do it to you uh I mean for you. :)

Sorry to hear about your troubles with your 30W, Kat. My first one has been a solid device with no issues these past weeks. But there are always some that fall through the cracks of QC @ the factory. I guess more folks need to send eleaf an email letting them know about this last weakness (as reported during the original 20W release as well).

May your replacement be swift :)

Thanks a bunch, jefs. :) Here's the GOOD news.... I THINK I might just have another mod or 2 on which to vape while he's vacationing in Hawaii... ;)

Kat, did you purchase a 50 without me?????

Sorry the 30 is unbalanced. Hope she gets reconnected soon.

Heaven's NO! Never, deary!

Yes, and thank you. She/he leaves for his journey today. Hmmm... I wonder if he'll get lei'd when he gets there....

That's the thing that troubles me about the 50W. In the 30W you can reinforce the USB like I did in my 20W..... easy enough!

But the 50W has its microUSB port moved to the upper side, opposed to screen!

It's not impossible, but you have to work harder with the top cap, which would be undoubtedly ill-soldered to the PCB via 510's......

And that's a pity.....

Call me grouchy, but, if possible, I'd rather put the USB at the bottom, like in its little cousins. I'm accustomed to it in that way and it's far easier to be reinforced, my Golden Retriever could do it with just one paw........:)

Regarding the USB problem.... it's a silly thing about some soldering robot (or solder.... as in human one). My 20W was reinforced even if it has two big drops of soldering tin forcibly holding it against the Golden Retriever jaws. Why they can assure that for all the batch?

P.S.: Guess what? I've been free of stinkies for an entire year! Yiiiiihaaaa!

HUGE congrats! And we're all celebrating the day (o' LOVE) with you!

Happy Valentine's Day to each of you.

Thank you all...[emoji6]
It's been easy, once I got the Kamry K1000 and later the advanced mods and atomisers (Lambo, Hana, and finally the Legend and the iStick with some drippers and genisis).
And when I started my own e-liquids, this became a winner, now I repel stickies, I am a fierce advocate of vaping ...

Nevermore... It's a shame that Mr. Ruyan did not start this revolution, let's say, 30 years before...
[emoji6]

P.S.: Even with the iStick and a humble MOW, this works too, just it is 'yet another 'Tamagotchi' asking for charging...
...oh! And forget those tiny pockets! [emoji12]

Tapatalking... Mind those lampposts!

Got my first istick 30 watt today w/ a new Nauty and I can't seem to put it down long enough to pick up one of my old VV Spinners any more.
Glad this thread turned me on to this nice little device. No complaints from me so far! Thanks for all the thorough reviews you've all posted here. They were very helpful once again.
Time to take 'er for another spin down the juice aisle and hope nothing else shiney catches my eye,lol :p

I just wanted to share with you all what was included with my iStick 50w.

I received the complete package with the charger, USB cable, ego adapter, and manual.
One youtuber stated that there is a laminate on the display screen but mine doesn't have that.
My box was sealed and has a security scratch code. Interestingly, the product name on the box includes the words "Sub Ohm".
I was surprised how small the iStick 50w is. In the photos, I show it next to a ruler, a quarter, and a Vision Spinner II.
It's heavy compared to the Vision Spinner II. The Vision Spinner II weighs 2.2 oz while the iStick 50w weighs 5.2 oz.

Detonate...nice photos, thanks for sharing.....:toast:

Even though I have all of the iSticks made, I still like the Spinner II with the small Aspire tanks, they produce good flavor for being an inexpensive set-up.

I gave most of the Spinners away, but kept a couple for remembrance, this is what got me off cigarettes instantly after smoking 40 years.

Have fun with the 50w-er, they are good mods at a ridiculously low price.

I have an Istick 20 watt and an MVP 20 watt, and I like the form factor and ergonomics of the MVP much better than the Istick. The Istick is too small and not comfortable to hold due to it's "smallness" I guess if I were a woman (or man for that matter) with tiny hands, then I may prefer the Istick.

I don't have tiny hands and have no problem holding any mod nor do I find any too heavy or too light. For me it is all about the form factor, button placement, performance and ease of use. The iStick 30 or 20W fits nicely in my shirt or pants pocket. It feels right in my hand. You have stated several times in this thread that you've had bad luck/do not like the iStick. Fine. Move on.

Gee, I'm sorry, irwink, but that hit me very poorly. Do you believe that everyone needs to agree that the 'Stick is the best teeny mod since the 350 mAh eGo? It may very well be..... to those who think so.

whodat, I hope you stick around here. :)

Today I've received my very first device - the iStick 50W. My Kanger Subtank was delivered yesterday. Also bought some juices to try and so far I'm blown away. The production of the vapor is simply outstanding! No leaks so far or any other issues.
Primed the coil properly and started low. Using 1.2ohm coil (iStick reads it 1.3) vaping some fruity juice (0.6mg/ml) and playing with a wattage - between 15 and 20 watts.

This is my first time I'm going to stop smoking, ever since I started some 12 years ago. I'm going to have my last analog just before midnight so I start fresh tomorrow.

Thank you to all of you! You are awesome and I appreciate your contributions and reviews out there!. You were the reason why I opted for this device and finally pulled the trigger.

Sounds like you have the right attitude. You will have a learning curve, and maybe some aggravation once in a while. Hang in there and good luck to you.

No I don't but to hang out once the point is made to just repeatedly voice one's displeasure over and over again is unnecessary and smacks of a grudge.to me.

Wow and you could not have started with better gear! Good Luck and I hope you look back on some of these early posts YEARS from now and we all laugh thinking how archaic the iStick and Sub Tank were :)
