So I checked our own Batteries and Chargers forum and also the CandlePower Forums, with no mention of a new 35 amp capable battery.

Also the iStick batteries are Li-Po type which are rated for higher amps than the standard IMR batteries we normally use in the battery replaceable mods.
I'm beginning to think vapers should have went lipo from the beginning.. Imrs are not as good, let alone the icr's in the beginning. You can find lipos that blow imrs out of the water. You can easily find a 60amp cont. lipo.

People can complain that they can't change the istick batteries, while they change out thier crappy imrs all the time, while 2 years later my istick will still smoke all of thier batteries.

I'm S L O W L Y realizing that I'm losing interest in getting a 50W-iStick.

I was never interested in it's 50Watts. I'm an "analog-convert vapist" and find a Nauty with BVC's at 10-12Watts gives me the "perfect" analog-experience. I want/need nothing more.

It was the 4400mAh that sounded so attractive. But it's gradually dawning on me...

At Home...I have 4 20W/30W-iSticks, a couple VV3's (and some 18650 Mods). I plug any of my mods with "low-battery-indicators" in to my handy-dandy $16 5-port Anker USB charger Amazon.com: Anker® 25W 5-Port Desktop USB Charger with PowerIQ Technology for Smartphones, Tablets and Many Other Devices (White): Cell Phones & Accessories each night before I go to bed. So...at home...I'm never without a usable mod.

Out & About (I'm either unemployed or retired...so I ONLY leave the house for FUN)...I take one of my 20W/30W-iSticks with me. It's 2200mAh has yet to run out on me. (But just in case for an "emergency"...I also keep a 2nd 20W/30W-iStick in my car's "pool-noodle lined" cup holder.)

So...I'm beginning to think...why am I interested at all in the bigger/heavier 50W-iStick when I'll never use the extra Watts and don't need the 4400mAh at home or when I'm out and about???

I'm thinking the same thing.

I have 5 20w now (I keep seeing good deals) and never run out of battery life.

I was thinking that I should skip the 30w and go directly to a 50w. I don't even need the 30w since I use my Nautilus mini @ 12 watts and it's great.

I also am an "analog-convert". I vape to stay off the tobacco not to blow huge clouds.

I think for a lot of people 2 30's or 20's would be better than 1 50 :2c:

Dang I wish I didn't have that gotta have one (at least) of everything disease. :(

For any newbs.............. gerrymi sleeps along side his charger with one eye open. Be safe, yeah?

And he never keeps his 'Stick in the pool noodle cup holder during hot weather months. This I know. ;)

You and me - a pair, ger (can I call you ger? c'mon... it rhymed ;)). I VTNS (vape to not smoke) and have from the beginning. I like just the amount of vapor my setups and toppers deliver and am not Holy Grailing it.

I also considered the 'Stick50, but as love coffee mentioned, the lack of silly cone case dealt broke it. ;) Yes, of course I'm joking, but for those of us who don't need mAh, I just don't see the point, the need, and so have lost the desire for one.

I've got a "few" <cough> mods, so battery power is really never an issue. I normally do my O & A time with 2 or 3 'Sticks, and maybe one of my (almost forgotten) iTazte V3s. I really always hope I'll be home WAY before all that runs out!

Dang I wish I didn't have that gotta have one (at least) of everything disease. :(

I definitely have that where vaping is concerned, although I'd stop short of calling it a disease or disorder (except in jest). To me, it's more a slightly obsessive but thoroughly enjoyable pastime/hobby.

Since last September, I've bought 15 higher-wattage mini box mods. In my possession already are eight iSticks (five 20Ws, two 30Ws, and a 50W), a Cloupor Mini 30W, and three iPV Minis (a 30W and two 70Ws). All of them are loaded up and in service, and many get daily use. I also have a Smowell DPV-50W coming from FastTech, and today, in a fit of GAS (gear acquisition syndrome), I ordered yet another Cloupor Mini 30W and a Kanger KBOX 40W.

OK, so the Cloupor mini was only $29.99 shipped from gearbest, and the Kanger KBOX was only $25.20 shipped from 121vapes. What the heck, my average cost for all 15 boxes has been just $36 each ($540 over seven months, which is a mere drop in the bucket compared to the total I've spent on vaping over four and a half years). And yes, more of my vaping these days is done with increased power and at lower resistances---my Atlantis and Kanger Subtank clones have 0.5 ohm heads, and I'm enjoying a rejuvenation of dripping on my many RDA clones built to 0.7-0.9 ohms. None of those will even fire on my five iStick 20s with their 1.0 ohm lower limits, so it's relatively easy to justify the need to expand my stock of 30W and higher boxes that can handle sub-ohm atomizers and tanks.

In fairness, on the financial scales of conspicuous consumption, my vaping hobby is comparatively minor league. It's not like I'm borrowing money and going into debt. I can easily afford what I buy, and the whole experience of vaping gives me great pleasure---the vaping itself, acquiring hardware, making juices, and reading/posting on this and various other forums. Over my long life, few experiences have given me as much satisfaction with so little downside as vaping. On top of that, vaping helped me finally put an end to a 40-year addiction to cigarettes. That alone lobbies for cutting myself a little slack if I spend more money on vaping than some people might. Even my former self-medication with nicotine is way down, from 24mg when I started to 3-6mg today. I didn't even try to do that; it just happened naturally.

Yeah, good point about not needing the 50W unless it's for sub'ing. I was tempted just because I love these things so much...but decided better of it, and got a 2nd 30W instead.

I just can't imagine needing anything else on the battery front for a long time. (vape time translation= a couple months)

You're correct...I really don't need the 50's either...I like to vape at low wattage most of the time...the 30W's are just fine for just about everything I use. I guess the battery life is fantastic with the 50's, but its also fantastic with the 30's too. Now that I bought four of the 50's, I'll be passing them along to someone who will use them more than me.

I like the size of the 30's much better as well....:)

I started vaping prior to the release of the 30W. I have 3 20W iSticks and they are the only mods I have ever used. As these iSticks die I will be replacing them with the 30W model.

For me it's the form factor. I love the way these feel in my hand. My pinky goes under the device enduring it doesn't slip from my hand, and my index finger rests on top against the bottom of my Nautilus mini. Fire it with my thumb. I just can't imagine any other mod feeling so good in my hand.

That being said, I have one issue with the way I hold this device. Depending on which tank I have attached to which mod and which air hole I am currently using, sometimes my index finger covers the air-hole on my mini.

At first my fix was to utilize the 510 adapter and beauty ring but I just don't like the extra height/bulk it adds. I've been meaning to go to the hardware store and find a thin plastic washer to sit between the mod and tank so it will screw down less and therefor change the position of the air-hole.

For the time being, I found a piece of rubber like material laying around my house that I cut in the shape of a washer. My question is does anyone see an issue with using rubber or plastic for this. I'm pretty sure the electricity runs up the middle of the 510, through the coil, and returns via the threads. Do I need to worry about heat and these materials?

I don't do online shopping... Ever. Don't even have a credit card [emoji14].
I'll needed to source locally
You are missing out on great deals! Get a Netspend Visa, and you just add cash. It's just like a debit card but without a bank account. I tried the flavors I liked at a vape lounge, but their prices are crazy high. I paid $115 for a starter kit over 2 years ago; 2 vision Spinners, a cheap tank, and an Ego case. Those items cost about $55 at www.Sweet-Vapes.com. A great company, and Nicoticket eliquid is delicious.

I haven't decided yet. I want to reduce my rotation to no more than 4 flavors and devote a tank to each flavor. I was dead set on the Delta ll but recent reviews have me undecided. It may be the Subtank Mini or I may just get a few GS Airs for now and wait and see what develops from the newer tanks. I also plan on using an old Kanger T3S devoted to my tobacco flavor on low watts. I'm not sure that I want to sub-ohm all day. But of course I'll be sub-ohmin with a dripper occasionally. The guy that was claimin it was so big was doin it before any were out and he was goin by the dimensions and it havin 2 batteries.
I changed to the T3D's because they can take Kanger single coils, or the updated dual coils I like much better. I really love my occ coils, though. The Kanger Subtank Mini takes the updated coils, too, just have to buy the SubOhm resistance. Though I doubt I'll use then in my Subtank, since I order the others for my hubby's T3D and my Aerotank V2.

Should be fine. Just was at a thread that someone suggested/used a credit card.

I found that I would do that as well, my finger blocking the air hole of the Nautilus mini sometimes.

I had taken an old credit card and cut out a washer for the bottom of my Kayfun to use it on the 20W, the 510 connector of my Kayfun was a little too long and would short out the 20W's pin. (Which was at the last stages of packing it in).

The 510 connection carries all the power, and the mini doesn't get hot enough to melt the CC washer. If it gets that hot you have more serious problems.
