Somewhere out there
While I do like and trust vapin Greeks reviews, he tested it with the bvc coils which like higher wattages anyways so he wouldn't have noticed an issue with bucking. Only Phil has the equipment and expertise nessesary for a detailed analysis of its output.

While he's far from the only one with the tools to do so, I do think Phil is the mostly one to take up the project and do a thorough video on the results.

I sent him a request through his website.

I'm so happy the istick is working well for so many!!!

We all want innovation.

I have three coming for bowling friends I've converted to vaping and they use EVOD style tanks for the most part. I had one of the girls stop by tonight and test out her tank on my Istick and she loves it. She usually has her MVP set at 3.7 or higher so all should be good for them. I wish it worked for you as well because it is such a sleek little mod...but if you decide to sell them I don't think you'll have any problem getting your money out of them. If I didn't already have 7 headed my way I'd buy them.

Has anyone run one down yet? I'm wondering how long it takes to charge?

I did. First RECHARGE on Sunday morning from COMPLETLY depleted.....It took between 2hrs 15mins to 2hrs 30mins, for it to completely recharge to FULL...(using a tablet USB cord, plugged into my laptop).

The Istick specs say a 1 amp wall wart is safe and faster than a laptop usb, plus safer for the laptop: like this: $1.78 1A USB Power Adapter / Wall Charger - US plug / 110~220V at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
Also a quality longer cord lets you sit and vape pass thru style real easily like this:$2.89 Micro-USB Male to USB Male Braided Data Sync / Charging Cable - 3m / blue at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Life is good!

This must be the most craptastic camera I have ever used. :(

I did find that it worked well with an odd 2.3Ω coil at ~5.8W.
It maxed out at 16.8W on a 1.8Ω coil in a dripper. It worked ok there too. Not enough power for this, but nothing weird happened.
Odd things seem to happen most everywhere else as most people are experiencing.

That's the iStick Innards. An 18650 wearing a Jetpack. LOL

Warning Will Robison: Since the Battery is Hard-Wired to the Board/Boards, parts or All of the Board is Energized. So be Very Careful Handling the IStick Innards. Poking it with a Dental Pick can Release the Magic Smoke.

Don't Ask Me How I Know This.

Day 4 with my iStick, and it's still a great little vape!.....(IMO:)). I've been using a Kanger AeroMega with a 2.1ohm coil (although the meter on the iStick is reading 2.2) @ 12 watts, and it's working VERY WELL! When it's charging, then I go and use my ProVari mini. I haven't found ANYTHING else that I've WANTED to use since getting my ProVari back in Jan 2013.....The iStick has changed my mind about that. Although I LOVE my ProVari ($190.00 and worth it), I'm REALLY liking this iStick! ($34.35 and worth MORE!:D). Vaping on..........:vapor:.

We are going to have to frame and save that for future use :D

I don't think your attachment pics will show in this post, but wow..... ZERO wasted space.

Now if I could only do that with my home...

Hehe - I do not have mine in my hands yet. All of my worry is from the reading in this fine fact filled forum thread filler.

I suggest that you wait until you have yours and base your concerns or lack of on how it works for you ;) You just can't go by people saying that it "tastes burnt" or "seems to be too hot". Those are not facts based on real evidence or testing JMHO.
