Ok quick noob question, the dealy with the dental floss (and I can tie a surgeon's knot in a matchbox they made us learn that in presurgical *lol*) but is it the pin in the unit or the bottom of the adapter? or does it matter?
When I arrived home today my silver Istick was waiting for me! 3 days from purchase from VapeNW. I'm a happy camper.
For the record, in the week I've had my first stick, I've not had any issues with the battery not connecting with my tank. So far using Aerotank and Aero Mega tanks. Also arrived today was my first carto tank. UD AGR+ DCT. Hoping I like it. Using Boge pre-punched cartos.

A few atomizers on the Istick. I've had no problems with any of these firing, though a couple will not sit flush on the I stick, and not all have adjustable pins. I think my favorite is the Spheroid, looks and works great on my Istick. can't wait for the feeding frenzy to quiet down a bit to order a couple more.

When hubby brought in the mail today he did kinda "Ho Ho Ho!" As he walked up to me. Kind of a subtle hint that "maybe" I've had too many packages of late.
It's the pin inside the connector, pull it up ever so slightly to get the floss under and wrapped.
Actually Vape Outlet swore they mailed it Thursday and promised if there was no tracking info by Saturday the would send another one first thing this morning.. On Saturday USPS showed " Pre-Shipment Info Sent to USP" but no package. Today, instead of sending another as promised, they were going to file a claim with USPS for a lost package. I responded that one can't file a claim with USPS on a package they never received and that their issue wasn't with USPS. Then i requested a refund.

I've been using the 510-eGo adapter that came with my kit. But if you want to keep the looks, without threads exposed these might work better...510 to eGo Adapter with Well
If I remember correctly, you don't see the adapter when it's on. One end covers the pin completely and the tank screws into the other end flush with mod.

doesn't matter *lol* ok taking the adapter off, same issue, wobbly tank and you have to find just the right looseness for it to not be "no atomizer" & "atomizer low" argh!
