Yep. He sure glosses over the PWM.

If Phil blesses this thing at 3.0 volts Vrms then I have a defective Provari, MVP2 and a couple of VV3's to send back because they're defective. :D

You don't. I measured it against two voltmeters, one a serious candidate to just average voltages, another one too, but I was wrong assuming it was capable of RMS mesurements.
And do not forget your RMS-ed taste buds......they do not lie!
The thing is that the iStick is very reliable suppliying volts. Al least on the analogue. Other VW, my DNA30 clon at least, but also others if I watched and understood those videos on Youtube properly, are not so reliable (some drifting away the nominal expected values appears). Remember the Joyetech video (stripped out of the silly bits), in which the measurements were similar to mine....

And I measured over some range....

So the output IS a PWM wave and the voltmeters got the same numerical value as the iStick shows for all its voltage or power range......those voltmeters unable to measure RMS, they get averages instead.....

...that's a 'guilty of all the charges' in my playbook, for me, it confirms the 'PWM-gate'. If another reviewer gets the statistics and resolves that the iStick measures the shown voltages as RMS ones...well, then they received an improved version.

Mine is not, and I'm waiting for an explanation and a possible solution....

It wouldn't surprise me if joyetech sends Phil a revised version outputting in RMS. Phil will then confirm that the output is reasonably accurate. Joyetech's recent claim will then be validated and we'll all look like {MODERATED}. Yeah sometimes I can be cynical.

Remember about 20 Pages ago when I said if I was an OEM that I would Never send Phil (or any Reviewer) something to review?

Now you can see why.

So has anyone who purchased from the Minnesota Ebay guy (ecig-club) gotten a valid confirmation number from him? After two days all I get is an error not found when I try the info he gave me, got the same excuse from him, that he was to late to ship as promised yesterday, but claims it was shipped today, yet still nothing.

I normally get about 99% of my packages shipped within Minnesota in max of two days, and it is highly unlikely this would not have been scanned by at least one location by now. Also If he had even printed a label it should have been in the system already, and not simply not found.

I'm not to concerned with losing my money, as PayPal/Ebay purchases are probably about 99.9% safe from loss, however I did purchase from this individual because he was close and promised to ship yesterday, which should have meant being in my hands tomorrow. This was to be a gift, so that was important.

So far I give Ebay Seller ecig-club a great big fat FAIL! Buy from an established seller, avoid the same frustration!

Yea, I have been playing email tag with this guy. He first told me to pick from blue or silver. Then this morning he emails me saying he only has black. I told him black or blue yesterday. I have just seen an elec uspo mailing number come up on my ebay summary so maybe he will actually go to the po tomorrow. He is to throw in a little bottle of juice for my trouble. We will see. Will update tomorrow. Vape on!:vapor:

Yeah I remember that. I'd be reluctant as well, unless I was very sure I had built a winning device. A hardy thumbs up from a high profile reviewer, particularly Phil, can be a potent endorsement; and essentially cheap advertising.

If an OEM sends something to a Reviewer, there will Always be Questions about if what the Reviewer Reviews is the Same as what the Public Buys.

Better for Reviews to buy their Own Hardware in My Opinion.
