No way lolI call BS. Because I am not within arms reach. You, on the other hand, should just .... and let her keep it while you wait for the other one.

I've wondered myself if some of us are early adopters. Whatever "early" means. I got mine from a B&M shop owner who had it for a couple of weeks before selling it to me. I also don't know how long it sat on the canoe being paddled by a one-armed guy from China (Like my fasttech orders). There's a reviewer that can display a version number (I think) by pressing both arrow buttons. I can't do this.
It's possilble there's some different batches out there with subtle differences.
BTW - Did eLeaf ever say Anywhere in their Product Description that the iStick outputs in RMS?
I've learned that everything always looks bigger in video reviews. What put it into perspecitve before I actually got one was a pic of the iStick standing next to a Bic lighter. Was anyone else surprised when their stick arrived that it was really THAT tiny? This thing is adorable!
You don't. I measured it against two voltmeters, one a serious candidate to just average voltages, another one too, but I was wrong assuming it was capable of RMS mesurements.
And do not forget your RMS-ed taste buds......they do not lie!
The thing is that the iStick is very reliable suppliying volts. Al least on the analogue. Other VW, my DNA30 clon at least, but also others if I watched and understood those videos on Youtube properly, are not so reliable (some drifting away the nominal expected values appears). Remember the Joyetech video (stripped out of the silly bits), in which the measurements were similar to mine....
And I measured over some range....
So the output IS a PWM wave and the voltmeters got the same numerical value as the iStick shows for all its voltage or power range......those voltmeters unable to measure RMS, they get averages instead.....
...that's a 'guilty of all the charges' in my playbook, for me, it confirms the 'PWM-gate'. If another reviewer gets the statistics and resolves that the iStick measures the shown voltages as RMS ones...well, then they received an improved version.
Mine is not, and I'm waiting for an explanation and a possible solution....
I think some people are really gettin hung up on the RMS issue and writing dissertations like their applying for their doctorate degree. It's a $35 mod for cryin out loud! OK - low voltage vapers are gettin Hot Hits and they don't like that. I get it. However, I still think that the majority of average vapers would love this! I know I do!![]()
No member of this forum has said that their iStick shows anything when they press up and down buttons at once, so far.
That means either nobody cares about the PWM-gate, the firmware version or everybody, except TiaVaps so far, received a batch without that capability, unable to show any firmware version (or at least, unable to show it in the same way TiaVapes do).

I'm troubled, puzzled and mesmerized because I cannot decide which case it is.... and before Mr. Busardo gets his numbers, we're doubting which batch he has received.......
If we end up looking like a...es, well, I live in Spain, we've got some strong protective regulations about guarantees and fair advertising. It is doubtful they will serve to anything, and the landscape is blurred enough not to give to the gutter reporters 'yet another vaping scandal', like the 'they sell things out of tax' or 'they perform an unhealthy activity' or 'it is a dangerous unregulated activity' or 'a man almost kicked the bucket because was an avid vaper and he got lipidic pneumonia....'
Strange as it might sound, those headlines have been read here, those and even worse.....
it is, ultimately, yet another case of 'that car was advertised as having more than 100 MPH of top speed, but it barely reaches 85...", or quite the opposite, in fact....
P.S.: I've been told that only batteries come in a canoe paddled with one-armed guys who are using toothpick to paddle. the rest seems to come by registered air mail. That supposes that, at least in some legs of the trip, our orders fly.....
Let' s not spoil our hopes.....![]()
Got one coming and I'm excited. Although I love my MVP I thought I needed a little (but powerful) little brother.
I've pressed the up and down buttons at the same time and I get no version readoutThat's on 2 Sticks
