And Phil made a video--veeeeeeeeeeeeeery long.

Japanese cotton and rayon were the winners.

I tried to make a syringe mod--once.

But I figured that sooner or later somebody would offer a commercially made carto tank. I was right. I think GummyBear was the first one.

Before MAP? Hmmm... maybe so. I always thought it was Adam as the first.

Really??? See, we are all so different. I tried every top coil from the ill-fated CE2s to iClears that came with my MVP2s... Never cared for them. Well, the T2 was OK. But I still like a good Boge carto in my cheapo ($4) Boge carto tank... Go figure...

I never met a clearo I really liked, and I did try them all. Inevitably, after a valiant effort to try to like them, I'd revert to my tried, trusted, and true karto tanks. An IKV or a Boge suits me very well, still.

Then came the Aspires. These coils have definitely changed it up for me, but I'm not tossing out any kartos or tanks quite yet.

I don't build. I can't build. I dun wanna build! Don't make me build!

Nope. Just bowls of VG and various wicking materials. Watching VG being wicked is just as much fun as watching paint dry. :D

I really don't remember. Syringe mods were homemade mods, never sold commercially. The MAP was the very first mod available for sale--but I have no idea which came first. They all sort of appeared on the vaping scene at the beginning of 2011...

I had no idea there were so many of them.

I know how you feel. But we may have to--if the FDA allows only those e-cigs that were being sold in this country before 2007 and bans everything else. Which, by the way, is what they propose to do.

I'm not going back to a 3-piece or BT cigalikes with sealed cartridges.

I agree.....I'm ready for the Bans.....Got enough Nic in the deep freezer for 15-20 years...Got enough wire , toppers and mods for many years to come...I Don't see how they could stop me from being able to get the rest of what i need.... But, I really don't think it will ever get that bad. Just my humble opinion.

iSitck would be a great addition / step up from your spinner in more ways than one. Way better battery life, and a significant advancement in wattage. You are good to go down to 1.1 ohm on the iStick.
I must've missed something...I thought you could use the Kanger 1ohm coils with the istick? No?

Don't know if this has been raised as this thread is so long, but I ordered 1 of these from vapenw & when it finally came in I found my AC9 genny would not screw down far enough to fire. Ihave looked at the unit & found the center pin of the 510 is too large to allow the atty to screw down. I notified vapenw & they have agreed to a full refund. I am shipping the unit today along with the packing list & then wee will see.
I bought 1 of these from Smoke-Evolution & it fit every atty I have just fine so go figure. guess it is just the cheap Chinese manufacturing.

Just curious, but, did you by chance try a 510 to 510/ego adapter to see if would work?? Did your other toppers work on it?

Well, the BVC's are good to be sure but the 1.8 ohm-ers are still a little "spicy" for me even at 3 "iStick" volts.

I have one BVC going on 6 weeks now and it just won't die. The coil is so gunked up it reads 2.2 ohms and vapes perfectly at low power. :D

You know you can dry burn that coil and get it right back down to about 1.9 again and you'll have a few more weeks out of it.

Buy some #60 o-rings. Slowly and gently lift up the 510 connection. Remove the crap white o-ring which is installed. Slide the #60 o-ring over the 510 pin and place at the bottom of the opening. Then slowly push down the 510 pin as gently and straight as you can......and voila! Fix done and it will work with all attys (at least mine does).

Sounds stupid but i prefer my istick now ive done this fix! Lol

Surprisingly this is the money shot.

It they have 1,00 Ω or more, you can. It's questionable their results, as with so low resistances it gets harder to control the excess of power. But you can try.

If they have 0,999 Ω or less, you cannot. There is a software protection in place, any atomizer with less than 1,00 Ω won't fire at all. Even if the iStick is able to measure their resistances (I've seen 0,6 Ω).

So with your 1,0 Ω heads, if they go beyond 1,01 Ω, they'll work.

The resistance measurement system is a nice trick on the iStick. It probes, as long as the screen is up, with a pulsating current of about 100 mV to "see" the atomizer and its resistance. If there is a measurable value, it shows it in real time. If not (shortcircuited or no atomizer at all) it shows "0,00 Ω", so you can tighten your atomizer checking it in real time, if it is connecting or not....

I have an iStick! I am new but my bf is a GM at vape store so I try a lot of different batteries and MODs and I still put mine in the top lists of favorites.I

I absolutely love my iStick. It is the perfect size for me. still trying to find the perfect tank though...

Have your BF get ya' a Nautilus-Mini with 1.8Ω BVC coils...looks BEAUTIFUL on the iStick and vapes PERFECTLY at 10-12 Watts.

Just a heads up for everyone.

I received my order from VapeNW today. I purchased 2 iSticks, one blue for myself and one pink for my mom. And I purchased 2 mini nautilus's. All on the same day this was ordered for a total of $109.96 on 10/24. Today I received my package, only to find ONE ISTICK AND ONE TANK!

My order clearly states 2 batteries and 2 tanks, and also the price of $109 should have given that away. I have sent them an email, still waiting for reply. I swear to god I always run into problems buying off of ebay. Anyone have advice?

Received my 2 isticks finally today. Right now using Kanger Aero mini 1.8ohm at 7w and one has a phiniac skinny phinny with diverV2 with 2.1ohm at 5.1w. The Skinny Phinny looks like it's made for the istick. So far very nice vape. Gonna play around with watts and other attys like the kayfun mini. Waiting on mini nauts and bvc heads to get here.
