Everyone is waiting until the blinking battery light goes Out and the screen is Black for a full charge, right?

Not a full looking battery showing on the main screen...

Yes. Well, I don't always check, but it charges from about 11pm until 7am, so I'm pretty sure it's fully charged.

I didn't think I needed to state the obvious here but you are burnin up a 1.8ohm coil and juice at 12watts and you wonder why a little 18650 battery in a device that over powers, so you are actually hitting more like 13-14watts, and you are wondering your your battery isn't lasting as long?!

Jeez man your killing the battery it won't last

Nonsense. First, I'm not burning up anything, I use basically the same settings on my Zmax mini too. Second, if what you say is true then how come I got 24 hours out of a charge initially?

When I got my istick a few weeks ago, I posted that it lasted 24 hours on my first charge.

I've noticed that that number has been dropping. My vaping frequency hasn't changed (I vape all day), but it's not lasting as long. I usually charge it overnight and last week I noticed that the battery was drained by 7PM (I typically start vaping around 8am).

Today, I started using my fully charged istick at about 7:45am this morning. As of 5:15pm it's completely drained and I had to plug it in. That's less than 10 hours of charge.

Anyone else noticing this?

Additional info: I vape various juices, usually at around 12 watts on my 1.8ohm BVC's. I usually charge from the off state, but not always - doesn't seem to make a difference.
I've reported this along time ago. Thought I had the only crappy battery life. Started at 11 hrs a day. Probably down to 8 myself now.

Now it doesn't jump say from 1-2.6 but it does go from 2.3 to 2.5. So say I look at it before puffing and it says 2.3. I take a puff and look down and it says 2.5.

It's normal for the resistance to go up a bit as residue builds up on the coil.

You know, it's almost funny. These things are so wildly popular, but it's nearly impossible to sell one. XD

Depends how much you're selling a used one for.

VS rDNA 40 is nice! The temp control concept does sound promising. I'll have to wait and see the reviews...

I was going to wait until I saw some reviews but I couldn't wait. I thought it was too late to pre-order and have it shipped on the 28th so I called a VS store in NJ and reserved one. They were very nice and didn't even want a payment or deposit. They said they'll hold one for me and call me when they get them.

I would try prying it but it's reading my other "cheap","kit" style ones fine. [emoji20] ok I backed out the pin on bottom of mini 3 and its connecting and vaping like a champ!!![emoji16]

Make sure that screw isn't holding anything together. Some atomizers use that screw to hold the deck to the base.

Ok good heads up! I'll check it now!

The problem I have with the 'Eleaf iStick' is the fact that it cannot decrease voltage below what it's battery is charged at.

Lets say you are using an atomizer with a single 1.4 ohm coil .... and you have found that you get the best vape at 9.5 watts.

Well, your battery is going to need to supply 3.8v in order to give your 1.4 ohm coil 9.5 watts.

The problem with the iStick is that it can't supply voltage below battery voltage ... and a fully charged iStick will in fact make more than 3.8v when fully charged.

Bad Deal ! ....................

Any good regulated battery needs to be able to supply voltage above and below what it's internal battery voltage is at any particular point in time.

So I decided to get a jwrap in carbon fiber black. It's pretty sick, and does provide a slight bit of extra grip. Though not as much as a rubber case would *cough eleaf*

It's hard to get good lighting for it, so forgive the cliche hand hold. But should give an idea for those thinking about it. And note, I couldnt get an angle to show it, but it also covers the top and bottom, via separate pieces.

dryspocket .... You need to not concern yourself so much as to what kind of wrap you want to install on your Eleaf iStick .... but worry more about whether or not this regulated mod will even be able to fulfill your requirements for power.
I'm pretty sure he's had it for awhile and is happy with it, as are many of us.

Seems to be ok

If I recall, you're referring to the Protank Mini 3. The bottom pin on the PT3 Mini is the bottom pin of the actual atty poking through the base, so there's no concern about loosening anything else on the tank. Its also not a screw; the pin is just pressure fitted into the atty. So don't pull it out tooo far.

Looks Great! How much was it?

$15.50 including shipping. Not too bad. The options were a bit overwhelming, so I just went for black carbon fiber hoping for some grip. But for those wanting more for looks, there are plenty of choices. Looks like you have to find the print you want first, and then see if it's available for the istick. Or at least that's the only way I figured it out.

And yes Flt, I'm quite happy with my baby. You'll note the nauty mini on it; I wouldn't even know what to do with more power. I'm a happy camper.
