There is a lot of thread here... I just spent an hour browsing and didn't come across my issue.
I just got 2 Isticks from Rock Bottom tonight and both of them have rattling fire buttons.
I own another one and the fire button is snug with no play. I have noticed that my Vision 2 spinner has play in the fire button, but it has never caused any issues.
Has anyone else had a problem with the Isticks having a loose button? Did I get 2 defects? or is this something to just ignore? They fire fine and everything is working just like my original.
I really hate dealing with the return process, but don't want to have 2 useless $30 sticks in a couple of weeks.

My first one had little play in the fire button; the one I just received has a rattly fire button. Others have reported the same. Nothing to be concerned about unless it stops firing or the button falls off :?:

When you use the link off of the page over at the Vaping Discounts site while the special is on the link there automatically takes off the discount for you once you add the item in your cart. When going there earlier the regular prices were up instead of the original posted discount provided you used the link on the page. That then opend up to another VD page with a purchase link that brings you to the vendor with the advertised discount applied since you went through VD not directly.

What you see there now is the special discount not advertised by vendor but special discount for having gone through Vaping Discounts. The owner there also does the reviews seen at 411Vapes.com: Informing the E-cigarette world one review at a time. |

Really. Really? Not yer type, eh?

Are you kidding? That's "Redundancy" at it's finest! You can't just go out and find that much in one clip alone as a rule!:laugh::laugh:

The two I ended up with from two different vendors mind you sees nice snug buttons without any loose rattle. I took one the other night and gave that a hard shake and what sounded almost like metal pinging was actually the ejuice slapping around inside the tank! If the top plate you see on these buttons is stuck onto a plastic square button comes unglued.

If that's the case which I kind of doubt then the face plate as it would be better called simply rattles right there without coming into contact with anything else internally and shouldn't pose a problem except eventually it could slip out and fall on the floor or ground or parking lot and be lost if it's actually that loose. The button seems most likely a part that is pre-molded into a square top part with a short shaft that is either pressed into the switch body or pushes something else like a contact bar against a contact point on the circuit card. Instead of the button which is super light and would hardly make any sound at all.

What I have to suspect as the most likely thing you are hearing would be the battery which has evidently more play in some then others which also would have the weight to slap around a little on the inside and be heard.

This thread is crazy long, I started reading it from the beginning, almost every post. Got my first I stick on pre- order from one vender back in early oct. I think and recently received my second from a different vender. Both have a fire button rattle, but this second one that just came rattles like crazy!!! I have had no other issues with either of mine, use them everyday......no thread issues or phantom fire button.... Just the rattle. I just think when they hit, they hit hard and QC at Eleaf may have suffered a little..... Cause man these things are crazy popular. If it doesn't make you nuts.... Just keep on vaping it...LOL just keep your finger on the button.

Oh noes.... Same form factor as the MVP2? Same size and button placement?

It's still the same size and shape as well as same size 2600mah sealed battery and switch on/off usb charging port but now ranges 6-2w 3.3-7.5v. But one other change is now the unit is more like the iStick in threading with the separate 510/eGo adapter instead of the 2.0's combination connector being standard.. The promo photo for the black and silver illustrated can be seen in the announcement at New MVP 20W by Innokin | Vaping Cheap Deals

Some say the mini vapes better than the full sized Kayfun...............I am one of them.

But I have to recoil this one before using it on my Istick as it's 0.8Ω

Kayfun 2.1 ES on Istick

That's SLIM!

Well when I posted the pic I couldn't use it on my Istick "cause it was 0.8Ω. It is now 1.1Ω and I'm vape'n it right now.

I had this wild idea about going with 14500 mods but that didn't pan out as there are no 14500 batteries that will put out more than 5 amps.
Anyway that's why I have the mini Kayfun and Taifun, I have the mods too but don't use them. The Istick has enough power so now I have something that they look good on.

oh yeah, some pages back I posted a simple RDA build I did for a friend, had to go 1.1Ω, but worked out pretty well. I like the versatility of iSticks, now they just need to address the issues and make a better version 2...

It shouldn't cause you any problems. If the rattling really bothers you, you can pull the black piece above the fire button and move it down a bit to make it more snug so it doesn't rattle. The black piece is held on by double stick tape and you can re-stick it on closer to the fire button.

Do I want one of those, KTM? :D

They look awfully skinny....

Dunno. I thought I wanted one and did a bunch of research on it a few months ago. Lots of negative reviews but some love the size. Ivogo seemed to be the best clone to get if you want one. I ended up buying more KFL+ v2's.

The EVIL salesman at Elite VaporWorks let me try a iStick with a Nautilus Mini. Then he proceeded to tell me the black battery ONLY was $24.95. At 11watts this thing hit like a beast.

How could i refuse that?

Elite Vaporworks iStick by Eleaf - Battery Only - Black - iStick - Eleaf - Hardware

Elite Vaporworks Aspire Nautilus Mini Tank System - Nautilus - Aspire - Hardware

I think that's the best deal I've seen right now. Someone should jump on this if they want Black.

They'll be around in a couple weeks - not something the sub ohm crowd will like but great for stealth vaping.
The price I've seen in Europe in €42 so about $55.

Just saw the following tweet:
Special sale, now through Christmas. Coupon code "ISTICKSHIP" for free standard shipping on an Eleaf iStick.

For here - $34.95 with free shipping seems like a very good deal.

And speaking of adorbs...

DNA 40 issues--to date.

Give me the short version- what was this supposed to be about?
It's hard for me to watch vids that start off with a lot of talk about nothing- at least nothing important tp me- causes me to loose interest & I won't watch it.
