Bikenstein, please don't condemn the istick before you even get it! I am a woman, and I LOVE the istick. Battery life, form factor, and vaping experience with the right tank, is excellent, IMHO. A LOT of us are running Nautilus Mini's on the istick, and it's a winning combination. I have 3 isticks, and I have not had any problems with threading or with the rms vs. mean issue. I found the regular EVOD type clearo's did run too hot. So, I switched to Nauti-mini and haven't had ANY problems since.

Me too! This thing is around 3 months old already and not one problem yet. I really like it. I use Nautilus' on it also. Did you ever try an Evod Glass (DC)? It's wicked!!

I just got mine! Two of them. Always get two, for one in my mouth, one on the recharger. These are my second vapaversary presents to me. Got them from Myfreedomsmokes 44.95 apiece, less 17 percent new year discount, less some points I redeemed, free shipping because of some other stuff I got. I got black ones. Some sites sell these as just the unit plus ego adapter but my MFS kit also includes the recharger and wall adapter.

I got one of them out of the box in record time, popped on an aspire glass clearo, arrowed up to 4.3 volts and vaped. I LOVE THIS!!!!!!!

I just have to figure out watts. I've only ever known volts, so have no idea whether wattage is better or voltage, or if it matters. I guess tonight I'll take my time with the user manual included.

They're more likely to be ultimately pleased with the product. In 8000+ posts, the far majority of posters have been pleased with their iStick(s).

I'd love to find the 4400mAh batteries Eleaf is using in the 50W iStick. They're probably using two of the 20watter's in parallel. Has anyone found a source for the 2200mAh 18650 LiPos used in the iStick? I can only find 1800mAh versions that require 100+ MOQ.

I ordered a few bending adapters to fix the problem. I like to use the 20w device with evods as an out and about low profile mouth to lung hitter anyway. The 30w has the spring loaded pin so i plan on getting a couple of those too. Love the product!

What would be Interesting is to know the Actual Failure Rate of an APV like the IPV Mini?

There is an Old Say'n in the Restaurant business.

If you get a OK Meal, you will probably Not Tell anyone.

But. If you get a Bad Meal, you will tell a Every Person you know.

Sometimes I wonder when I read about someone who posts about an APV that Died, or one that came DOA, how many people are there who have had No Problems? But haven't posted saying so.

I have the cloned Erl mini and the 510 is adjustable. Not sure about the real deal but worth a try. I love my mini on the iStick

The authentic Erlkonigin and it's 1:1 clones all have a short 510 and no adjustment. My 1:1 clone has difficulties on my iStick too.

The isticks are still $24.99 at VapeNW. The mailman brought three more to our house today, for a total of ten! I know all the issues, and all the fixes thanks to this thread, and you can't beat that price for what you get. I've paid more for VV stick batteries in the past.

I have 6 different Erlk, and an Erlprinz, only one of the bunch that has an adjustable 510 is This one from Fasttech. Its not a bad clone, works well for me.

Sometimes the thing wrong is the user not the product when it simply doesn't suit their purpose! With anything mass produced there will a certain percentage that get out with problems. I just got back in from running an errand where the iStick saw the purpose for quick draw on the go.

Overwhelming positive review doesn't always mean what is best for you! That's a catch 22! You have to go by what meets your own personal needs while it certainly never hurts to hear good things about something you are looking at while at the same time things should be sized up according to your actual preferences are rather then buying "just because of"!

Well that was what I figured. A few places have the full kits priced at $29.99 or $31.99 for anyone looking to get their first however.

The common Ego battery, as well as the first iteration of the MVP had major flaws as well. Things turned out rather well, and neither became known as garbage.

The original iStick is still a good mod and delivers a great vaping experience while easy to hold, operate and afford. Were there issues? Yes. But Eleaf included an ego adapter, and upon knowing os issues created the BENDING ADAPTER to fix the 510 issues. And less than six months later are releasing 2 new version of the original with re-inforced 510 threads and more features while keeping the form factor and price point.

My MVPs, I own 2, are used as bedtime vaping tools these days, while the iSticks (I own 2 as well) are my daily carry and go-to devices. If you'd like to waste your time searching for that perfect device, go right at it. It's your time and cash. But don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.

I've owned an MVP as well as other mods. Not searching for a"perfect" device. When I purchased the istick, I was just lookin at getting her something simple, easy to use and reliable. She's had a VV3 for 8 mos and all she's had to do is Fill her tanks and charge it. 0 issues, no worries about stripped threads. A VV4 would make her very happy and I wouldn't have to worry about problems. I should have "wasted" some time researchin the istick and would have seen that it may be a problem for her.
It's only $31 so I'm not overly concerned. I can use hi-temp Loctite on the adapter to make sure she doesn't unscrew it by mistake and mess the threads up putting it back in and buy her a couple of Nautilus Minis. There's more than one way to skin a catfish.
