Just noticed the skin says "Nofriendo". Lol...? Nofriendo? Thats not very nice. I have friends... I think.
:) I looked it up and supposedly means: "An electrical item, such as an MP3 player or mobile phone that causes someone to be out of touch with people surrounding them".

I don't know this for sure, but I'm inclined to think that all the various alternative istick 20s on fasttech are not reverse-engineered clones, but probably re-branded units purchased at wholesale from eleaf and supplied from the factory that makes the authentic eLeaf iStick.

2 of the 3 clearly have different display covers where the display tint is clear vs dark. I think those are likely reverse engineered. The smart 20 looks to be a rebranding...

How much bigger is the 50w going to be? Im assuming bigger than the 20w but hopefully smaller than the mvp....

It's about 1/2" wider and about 5/16" taller. Definitely more of a handful, but still smaller than an MVP. I have 2 ordered and only bought a 30 for the meantime but honestly I think the 30 performs well enough for me and may sell 1 or both of the 50's. I've been getting good performance with a 1.4 ohm build and not sub ohmin so much. Then again, maybe not. I'm thinkin the 50 may be to the 30 what the 30 is to the 20 :)

I doubt I'll spring for the 50W. I've never gone past 17 or 18 watts on any device and don't intend to get into subohm stuff. The batt life in the 30W is fine for me and I don't want a larger form factor just for longer battery life between charge cycles.

But never say never...:D

Check out the Cloupor Mini. About the same cost and size but uses a 18650 battery and adjustable 510 (screw type). I just got one and so far it's pretty nice.

I just sprang for another iStick-20 and an iStick-30, (waiting on vapemail) and other than some experimentation at 20 watts, I'm usually around 9-10 watts. With three batteries, I'm not worried about how long the charge will last.

On the 30w, am I burning any power leaving it on indefinitely. When I am done for the day, is there any difference between leaving it on and letting it go to sleep or shutting it down completely?

I haven't used mine regularly in a while and there's very little power drain. I've left it on for over 2 weeks w/o using it and the battery is still mostly full.

What's the most mAh you can get from a good 18650? AW IMR, or what have you...

Of the readily available ones the AW IMR or Samsung 25R are good options. Don't be fooled by the advertised mAh levels, they are based on the full discharge cycle from 4.2 volts down to 2.5 volts. The vaping range is usually 4.2 down to 3.5 volts, or 3.2 volts if using a regulated mod.

A good high quality, high amp rated battery will spend more time in the vape range, effectively giving you more mAh.

I recently purchased the istick 20w. I use a nautilus tank. I really like it but I was wondering if the battery can be replaced. I look at the little screws and I don't know if I have a screwdriver that would fit. It looks like a mini star driver. So can you change the battery?

It's not meant to be changed. It could be done if you are skilled enough

So has anyone with the 30W formed an opinion on how well the power regulation works on low settings? I definitely don't need higher wattage. The reason I quit using the 20W was because of the complete inability to get it to work at low wattage without scorching things. I might be willing to try the 30W if the power management at low levels has actually improved.
