just placed my order last nite for two 30w full kits from Rocky Mountain Vapor and two nautilus mini's and a couple 5paks of 1.8 ohm BVC coils from evape - the best half and I are really looking forward to stepping up from these evods

You're going to really like them, I use the iSticks more than any other mod I have.....batteries last for a couple days, then charge very fast. Can sick it in you pocket without anyone asking if you're happy to see me.

The nautilus mini is a good match...But I've found the Kanger Nano atty works like a charm too....with much better airflow than the Nautilus mini.

Regardless, you'll love the lil mods.......:)

I have a silver iStick 20w (and a black one). I never liked the way the silver looked. Yesterday, I decided to wrap the silver one with Contact "paper" it's really vinyl. This is the stuff that is repositionable so it comes off easily without leaving any glue residue. I think it looks pretty good. The size is 71mm X 85mm.

ok question...so my coworker (a new vapor ;) ) I got him an istick 20w when they first came out and he wants me to get him one more for a friend of his....he knows nothing about vaping aside from what I have set him up with...an older gentleman that can barely operate his phone
my question is though....should I get the 20w or the 30w? The 20w is nice and all but I'd rather go for the 30w with the better threading...thoughts? I'm assuming he's wanting it for someone who's never vaped before either.

Go for the 30W. It'll last longer and he won't have as much trouble with the threading and pin, which means he'll be more likely to keep on vaping.

I love my iStick 30W - just got it a couple of weeks ago and am very impressed by everything except how long it lasts before it needs a charge. I keep reading about people saying it lasts them 2 days, but I never get through 1 day with it. So I guess it's all in how much you vape.

Something I've been pondering, though, is using it in passthrough mode. I do that in the late evening when I'm home and it needs a charge. But I'm wondering if you can use passthrough even when it's fully charged. Does anyone know? The reason I ask is I could do that in the morning when I'm home, and then it would be fully charged in the afternoon and early evening when I"m out and about.

Exactly....and if you're not using a sub-ohm atty the battery lasts and lasts and lasts.......kinda like the opposite of the Never-Ready bunny.

Of course you can. Are you charging it until the lights go out or just until you get a full charge symbol?

k thanks, i think i'll get the 30w....i'd suggested it but he was kinda insisting on sticking with the 20w....but, i doubt he'll even really notice the difference ;)
now where to find a silver one on sale

My experience with the 20 is that you're ok over 7 or 8 watts. any less you need 2.5 or 3 ohm coils. The 30 works great with anything.

Yes--you can use passthrough even when it's fully charged. If I know I'm going out I'll plug it in and vape away--still charges fast even if chain vaping!

Unless you can find an iStick 20 for dirt cheap---like around ten bucks---go for the 30W.

Even though the iStick 20 is a mere six months old in the marketplace, it's already a museum piece. The iStick 30W is better in almost every way and costs only a little bit more.

One thing I noticed:
Regular charging, all is normal.
Pass-through charging, battery heats up.
Chain-vaping while pass through, gets warmer than might be advised for long term battery care/life.
(heat while charging LiPo not good)
