For the sake of saving me more time searching.. Has the chipset in the isticks been determined??
Or the brand of battery?

I don't know if joyetech, eleaf's parent/partner company, outsources their electronics. There are photos of the batteries used in the 20W throughout this thread and on Youtube (istick dis-assembly).

Neither has been determined, Jeremy. The chipiset and batteries have no manufacturer's stamps.

We know the batteries are Li-Po and made in China. It has been suggested that this might be the supplier: Huizhou shenzhou super power technology co.,ltd.

The chipset is anybody's guess. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Joyetech, Eleaf probably sub-contracts their electronics.

You do know it's reversible don't you? :)

LOL....Figures. I knew never reading the directions would come back to bite me. I was wondering because in some reviews I saw it facing towards the fire button and on mine it faces the opposite way. My directions are out in the car and I don't feel like taking my baby out in the 5 degree weather just to get it. Would you or someone else mind telling me how to reverse it.

Thank you

5 clicks off. Hold up & down button together for a couple of seconds and the display flips. 5 clicks on. Vape away...

Good luck!

One small last note. It's hard to explain but the power coming off my mods with YiHi chips (Sig 150 and IPV3) feels cleaner and more instant than the power coming off the i50. On some of my builds (mostly the twisted and multi coil builds) I can run my YiHi chips at 40 watts and the i50 at 40 watts however it seems that the YiHi chips are heating up the coils noticeably faster. So much so that I'll start pressing the button on my i50 as soon as I pick it up so that the coils pre-heat before taking a toke.

I noticed the same thing. The ramp up time lags a bit on my 30 compared to my 100+. No biggie and easy to get used to tho. I just hit the power button as soon as I pick it up to take a toot.

"I was replying to the post of someone's 20W iStick burning up on page 1075 :( Forgot to quote. Sorry still trying to get my bearings back"

That's too bad.

Yeah, at least they're cheap enough.

Just don't go to the B&M near my place. The 20W iStick goes for $50!

I noticed how the workers (kids) at some of the B&M stores around me really don't know anything about vaping, yet they have to brag about a $250 mod because it blows out a huge cloud of vapor with 100% VG. I told him I like a TH because I was a smoker. He told me he vapes 0mg juice because he never smoked. I'm done with B&M's in Phoenix..

Sorry to go a little off-topic, end of rant.

Rant away. It's not just Phoenix, by the way. :(

A vape friend (one of ours in this very thread) and I have spent many an afternoon "teaching" vape shop owners and staff a thing or two about vaping.

It's on the back of the box. It's a little stickler and has a bar code on it.

Was you box shrink wrapped? Did you buy the full kit?
Thank you...i didn't think to look on the bottom of the box, i was looking for something inside the box.
bought the full kit for my coworker, but he wasn't happy, he really wanted the 20w  I sold him mine for $10 and kept the 30w  win-win

ooh I will definitely have to try those coils out! Thanks :) Do they make the leaking/gurgling of the pt2 go away or atleast get better?
it helped the leakiness in mine, as for gurgling, i've never had that issue....mine just always leaked...to be honest, all tanks leak on me, i have no luck....

Shadav, do you know what that filler/wrap is made out of? I can't tell from the picture. Is this the same material (ceramic/fiberglass paper) that Aspire uses in their BVC coils?
I'm not sure, i assumed it was silica or whatever like the other coils but i couldn't tell ya.....but the flavor was spot on got 5 more on order :D

the silicon sleeves for the 20w fit the 30ws right?

Can you do me a favor, if you find a minute? Would you mind taking one of those coils apart (when you're done with it, of course) and examine this material? Does is crumble and fall apart when you rub it between your fingers? That's all I'd like to know.

Thanks in advance. :)

Quick question for iStick 50 owners. If you are looking at your display, which way is the information facing? Towards the fire button or away from the fire button?

You do know it's reversible don't you? :)

I thought about postin the procedure to flip the screen along with my question but didn't want to demean you if you were sincere. I thought you could be postin a loaded question but now that I know you were serious...........and I read it again.................... just jesting

forgot how much a pain it was to tear those stupid things apart
thankfully had one in my to clean cup :D
nope didn't crumble, it's pretty solid....kinda like a rubbery cotton (but that could be cuz it was used beyond what it should've been), reminds me of the pads on bandaids but more cloth than plastic
hope that helps.....
