I know I've said it before but if e-leaf releases a 100 Watt box with a 5200 mAh battery stuffed into an enclosure slightly larger than the i50 then I will get rid of all my other mods.

........They also need to improve the 510 connection and the fire button. =)[/QUO

Sorry, that wasn't necessary.

What wasnt necessary?

The 510 contact, at least on mine istick50, is very smooth. Veeeery. I ike almost there is no connection been made between the pin and the atty.

The button is clicky, no wobble what so ever. Fires evsrytime even when pushed on the very edge.

The device feels very solid

The 510 connection on mine has good threading as well. Its just that most of my RTA's and RDA's don't sit flush.

I would call my vendor if I were you. The 510 connection on the 30 & 50W 'Sticks have been brilliant for most users.

Got my 50w today and been using it since it arrived now bear in mind I'm comparing to the sigelei 50w as that's the only comparable mod I have. Build quality is very good consistent black finish over the whole of the main body with no noticeable lighter or darker areas everything is seamlessly put together with no gaps anywhere. Fire button is very very close to my SIG's fire button pressure is needed but not an undue amount and I've so far had no misfires with It whether I hit the fire button from the sides or centrally it responds every time i haven't had to maintain much pressure to keep it firing zero issues in any regard. Texture of the mod has caused some debate and while it is smoother then the sig at no time I've been holding it have I thought it would slip from my hand neither am I having to grip it with anymore force then I would grip the sig in it's gel skin.

510 connection like most of us I'd read some horror stories about the 20's 510 but on the 50 the connection is smooth a little smoother then the sig but not a huge margin and I've had no trouble screwing anything in and it being recognised the spring loaded connector is working well and everything is sitting flush, little plus for lemo owners you no longer need to alter the tanks 510 to get a good connection. Firing this has been identical to the sig 50 it reads everything the same it fires the same there is no difference at all for me between either of them and if there is a delay it is minimal on the one I have. Display has also been flawless and here it beats the sig in home both displays are easily visible and no problem but going outside I found I needed to cup my hand on the sig to see the display sometimes on the istick it's fine I can just look at it read it easily and carry on.

I'm really liking the lock settings on the istick as I can be clumsy and hit plus and minus buttons on the sig it can lead to a +\- of a watt over a period of a few hours on the istick I can be as much of an oaf as I like and no change. Some people have commented on the weight my wife among them but I am not finding that an issue either it is heavier then the sig but by now id have gone through a battery and a half (Samsung 25r) by now with the sig but I've only just lost an increment on the istick so the extra heft has a big plus to it and if your used to any modern apv I cannot see anyone feeling the istick is unuseably heavy. I've not come close to running the battery down so charging isn't something I can comment on but as there were issues with some of the micro USB connectors in the past I plugged in and took out the USB charging lead 30 times the micro USB was as solid at the end as it had been at the beginning obviously time will ultimately tell but it seems very well implemented same as everything else.

Now the final decision is this better then the sigelei 50w, yes it is and not just because it's cheaper which makes the fact it's better even more impressive these are both new mods and there is no real quality difference between the two devices. Operation wise again very close and I'd have to be overly silly to put one over the other both devices deliver a great vape and both are trouble free anyone could use either of these no real knowledge needed. I feel the istick is the better mod because of the little things the screen difference and the lock settings just edge the istick in front of the sig now add in that the istick was £24 cheaper then the sigelei and the istick is even more impressive.

Being honest when I ordered the istick I didn't expect it to be great a good mod but cheap and would be wanting in some areas but I was wrong it has as much a feel of quality as the sig maybe a bit more and it is every bit as good to vape. This istick is about to massively shake up the mid wattage device area a lot of manufacturer's are going to have to rethink things and in the short term expect some price drops on a number of models because if they don't it will be very hard to justify the extra cost for no extra benefit. Hope I didn't bore you too much and covered most of the issues people wanted to know :).

i will admit that the 30w the buttons are stiffer than the 20w but i like that cuz at work i toss it in my shirt pocket and i don't know how many times the 20w would accidently get cranked all the way up and then be firing....
but i don't like the lag in the fire button....i got used to the 20w the moment ya hit the fire button it was sizzling...now i have to hit it, wait a moment than puff away....i keep forgetting and first puff or two i get nothing....
but even that still it's an awesome mod.... but after vaping so long on the 20w i have to bump up the 30w an extra volt or volt and half....

I can't imagine them putting a good connector on the 30w and then one they need to improve on the 50. I have 2 coming next week. And the fire button you say needs improvement? Why?

Its hard to explain. The best way I can explain it is that the initial press is light and clicky but it takes more pressure to hold it down than it takes to initially press it. It will cut out and at first you wonder why and its because you didn't keep enough pressure on the button to keep it engaged.

That's a common trait for many big 'tactile' PCB buttons. Nobody has posted a photo of the innards of the 50W, or the 30W for the case (that I'm aware of), but I bet that the same actuator system used in the 20W (pusher rod between the button and the actual firing button on the PCB, as a 'tactile' one) is on the 50W.

That, or they simply put the tactiles there, behind the pusher, and they connected them to the PCB, wherever it should be. Anyway, big tactiles have that trait, they were in that way in VAMO, all Sigelei cylindricals and their Smok counterparts. Basically, anything with a firing button bigger than those used on most DNA30 devices (Hana, VaporFlask....) which are the tiny version, less prone to do that.

So enjoy your vaping and remember, the pusher is for that..... for pushing!:p

Nearly impossible!

About the battery capacity, they are quantum fixed.....well, sort of....

Who can guess which battery is used in all the range?

Yeah! Our little itty-bitty 'R18650D', a Lithium-Polymer battery without known pedigree, which has proved to be a little miracle, at least if you operate your device in its low power range. It's rated to 2200 mAh, but it seems not less than 2600 - 2800 mAh in the 20W at 3V. Otherwise, at full power it shows a normal fading, near the rated capacity.

Now, you put two.....that's 4400 mAh.

The next one, if any, would be the 6600 mAh device, at least meanwhile the R18650D last (they manufactured a lot)...:) Not sure if it has to be coupled to a 75W or a 150W PCB though, most of the potential buyers are not comfortable with more than 50 W in any situation, and for that level of power you also have devoted devices, right up to the afterburners of a military jet, if you need them......

At the moment, I'm throwing the idea around for yet another Stick to add to my family of Sticks. :) RockyMountain is at it again with another great sale. I just can't decide yet if I should get the 30 or the 50.:laugh:

Can't decide? Then get one of each!!

If you can only afford one at this time -- go for the 50W -- battery life for days :matrix:

I chain vape most of the time, but at lower wattage so the 50 would probably go for days, for me. :) I get about a day and a half out of my 20's, so even though backups are important to me, I would probably be pretty comfortable with the 50.
Here's picky:laugh:... I'm not crazy about how they changed the screen placement however, it is real cool that you can flip it. I usually vape lefty and use my thumb to fire. It just looks awkward but everything usually works out in the end (I hope). :)
