My friend from Asia called them, she can get them a lot less than that....buying a few hundred.
I'm waiting for her to check out the company first.
the istick 20 which is now 'dead' due to the no contact/threading issue - or whatever it's called. No adapter fixes it - pretty sure I'd have to exchange the threading internally to fix.
After reading your post,I put some clear packing tape on the bottom of my istick.then I trimmed it with a exacto knife. I can see how the bottom would scratch easily!Excellent device here, really like it.. My bottom cap is pretty scratched up after its first day out... Also noticed the screen is loose too. Mostly above the buttons. It should hold for quite a while, then I'll just us this adhesive to stick it back on... But hey, with that said, I have no complaints at all...
Battery is still almost full after 12hrs yesterday.. Remember not only do you have twice the mah, but also half the load on each so essentially 4 times more than a single 18650.
I've ran into an unusual behavior on my iStick 50W. I got it yesterday from a local vendor.
A short happend (well, I think it was a short) and it turned itself completely off. No warning about a short circuit. I thought that it was dead. After connecting it to a power supply through an USB cable it turned on and now it works fine.
Is it supposed to do that or do I have a faulty one?
crib notes:AldenF-can you give us the "crib notes" version of Phil's review? I notice that it is 41 minutes in length and I don't want to devote 41 minutes right now to watching it. Maybe later! Busy and lazy right now!
Phil Busardo's long-awaited review of the iStick 50W has landed. Interesting...
crib notes:
he gave it a "big" thumbs up.
likes almost everything about it.
it doesnt do "mean"

I love Phil's videos and apperciate all he does for the us but; I really don't understand why he didn't do the 50w and the 30w at the same time. At least for the scope numbers. I'm, personally, much more interested in the 30w device and, until someone else I trust tests it, there will always be a question mark next to its performance.

dead battery lock?
my istick 30, i vaped it dead last night, - it hit "power lock" when i went to fire it, then i went to fire it again and it completely shutoff. pressing buttons didnt light up the screen or show any info - plugged it in and it turned on normal and continues to work as described![]()

probable battery power way to low to turn on screenIf you watch the pbusardo video, the same thing happened to him when he was torture testing it. Basically, he simulated a short and it went dead on him. Wouldn't come back on until he plugged in the usb cable.

Why does it seem like some prefer the iStick 30w over the 50w?
Size would be my first guess!
