I wasn't thinking istick. There's plenty of mods in the $100+ category. Does Provape loose $ on all their repairs? I didn't think they were making money, but I didn't think they were loosing it either. Siegeli had a center in Calif for awhile. Never heard much about it, but the idea the mod was warrentied for a year was a tipping point for me to purchase. That's gone now I guess. That's a reason I won't invest more than a couple of isticks worth of $ too.

If I'm going to pay $150-$200, I'll get a REO cause I know it's backed. I don't think a service center is unreasonable for manufacturers to help cover the cost.

I'm sure Provape barely breaks even with their repairs. Customer service, pure and simple. One of the reasons they have VERY loyal customers. I also don't think they do tons of repairs. They build them right and to last before they ship them.

I don't know. I will have to read up on it, never used it. I might need some help from you.
Just ask and I'll help you the best I can, mesh building is still quite new to me as well.

I think you might find a problem using mesh as a wick in a tank system that has a Kayfun type of build deck. In the Origen and other genesis devices the mesh sticks into the tank like a staw and wicks up the ejuice.

There is a YouTube video of a guy using mesh in a Kayfun, the video is not in English so you don't get the whole gist and looks to be a PiTA. There are pictures of mesh used in between the coil and cotton to protect the cotton, but I think that defeats the purpose of the mesh.

If you want to play with some mesh then the Origen Dripper V3 (Can be made BF) or the Origen Genesis V2 MKII would be excellent atty's.

I'm on Safari and the link is clickable for me.

But...I don't understand the concept. So if you have a bad 510 connection on an istick, you take the istick apart, disconnect the soldered wire, screw this in, cut off the excess, right? How do you reinstall the new center pin?

Then, you re solder the red wire back right?
