My feed back is most venders are keeping their fingers crossed and
hoping for the best. Most really don't want to go "high profile".
I have no doubt they are keeping their fingers crossed, which is of course the very problem.

I think they have a 30% chance of things "going well" at this point.
And I think they have a 65% chance of things "going well" if they can get together.

And I think too many of them either don't get that, or don't think it's worth the monetary risk.
Too many of the vendors WE care about are still in "grab the cash and run" mode.

Again, this is just my opinion.

I do hope this works. EMSS may be well intentioned but, you guys aren't the ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers). That's the kind of organization that should be setting the standards. You need to be running a forum not setting standards. The fact that this is happening along with the purchase of Blu by Lorillard are good indicators that these things are going mainstream. We can expect things to change and it won't be all good or bad.
