Define "chemist". I took a chemistry class in high school, does that make me a chemist? What "license" do you have in mind?
There is a "licensed" lab tech in every clinic in the country, I doubt that you can find many that know a thing about mixing e-liquid.

Most with a PhD in chemistry have bigger fish to fry.

listing ingredients would also be a negative impact of sales for a company, if you knew exactly what flavors made your favorite then you would no longer need them to supply you. You cant forget this is becoming a highly competitive market with numerous vendors all supplying the same thing, if Company "X" knew what the difference between say their RYU4 and Company "Y" RYU4, they could copy the ingredients and would be taking business away from "Y". I doubt that if you were to call any of the vendors on here and tell them you make your own juice and if they could tell you what they use in such and such juice, that they would tell you.

Okay I haven't read all the posts but enough to get the general mind set on this particular subject. I keep readuing I only buy from US sellers ect... Truth is that most of the ingredients that vendors are using come from foreign sources. I read this fact on a vendor's sitec which by the way does list their ingredients and they are still in business. You don't need a chemistry degree to check nicotine levels. Should vendors keep accurate records by all means. It would go a long way to showing that there are people out there taking this seriously. That safety is a concern is one thing to ask vendor's to take on an unnecessary expense that will be passed on to us isn't. The prices for the titled made in the US juices in some cases are already over inflated. If they had some procedures in place where they check their shipments for accuracy on a regular basis perhaps things would be different with FDA and the regulation that's headed our way. As far as juice made in China they've been doing this for a long time now and people have been using it for that period of time and I've not seen one report of someone getting seriously ill from it. To each his own on that subject. I don't feel that a company needs to reveal the exact names of flavors or amounts but should have what makes up the ingredients like water,.ethyl maltol ect.... That should be sufficient. And nic bases should be tested at least once a year.

You may want to check out Firebrand. They have some cool stuff going on with mixing and bottling.

A two minute video extolling the super secret vortex mixing method.... get real... it's a lab mixer and a magnetic stir bar, just like the one we used in high school chemistry.
