That was the pGo, it never made it in to production. It was a cool idea but too complicated to build.

We will only have 2 USBaux's to test so no room for beta testers. This will be revision 3 of the betas so I think we will have ironed out the kinks.

They are real sexy looking! And it looks like you guys have put a lot of time and work into this.

The booster Version 2 will be out sometime over the next few months...
...I propose for the eGo Booster 2 for pipes that we sell 3 versions (perhaps 4 or 5).
The reason is, the menu function for the crown might be a bit much for pipe users. So what I propose is a 7 watt, 8 watt, 9 watt fixed boosters and perhaps a variable wattage/voltage version for the tinkerers. When dealing with watts I have found little need to change from my preferred setting (7 watts).

Any thoughts?
I like the idea of multiple versions. I would probably buy more than one anyway -- both fixed wattage & variable to play with.
I just watched the pbusardo vid on the Jazz implementation of the 'crown', and the "press x times & hold" system really doesn't seem too difficult at all. If you ask me, I'd say the one-button menu systems on many devices (like the provari) are more complex and confusing, even with a display.

Sounds good Matt. I am always up for less fidgeting and more vaping.
But I am wondering the difference between upping the volts vs the watts

Re:USBaux.
On release day will there be a relatively big inventory ready to ship out or will there be a limited selection released each Friday?
I wasn't around for the Mjolnir mods but it looks like you had a set menu of different woods available.
Have you decided which woods will be used?

I've used the booster on the pipes I have and felt it added too much weight and length (and quite frankly didn't add to the overall aesthetics). Actually, a well wrapped coil and pipe sauce gives plenty of vapor IMO.

For the most part I agree. Boosters are fairly light but do add a bit of length to the pipes.
I do not vape VV or VW often because a well built coil @ 1.6-8 ohms suits me just fine, even with power loss.

Just picked up this BCC "Mega" Vapeonly clearomizer the other day and am surprisingly satisfied with it. After 3 tanks, still lots of vapor and no leaking.

Also, a big thanks for the hot water tip to bend stems - couldn't have been easier.

Just bought the 8 inch Churchwarden stem although I don't have a pipe yet. But then, I thought, if I had waited for the perfect pipe to appear, chances are the Churchwarden would have been sold out by then.

Now I am only missing a pipe

Now that is a smart decision! Good move
