Your pics show the gap I was talking about so now I know it's not just mine.

Do you not pull the tank down to hide the gap?

I will slide the tank so it'll be flush with the thread cover when I get, so it looks like this

This is what I do. The extended threads are for opening and closing flow control. If the flow is wide open the connector sits flush. I leave the flow about half open and push the tank down to the cone.

Matt. Keep it. Im going to send back the Wasp maybe, and the Mjolnir for sure. Plus I need to make an order. I wanted some wax though and its been out for a while. But now I need more fuses and some v1 buttons anyhow. Maybe even batteries. So just hang on to it until I get my order in and the pipes are ready to send back to me.

The Wasp is a strange situation. The issue is really minor but I cant seem to diagnose it. It almost seems like not only is the connector in ever so slightly crooked but almost like the threads on the connector itself are slightly crooked. It just looks a bit wonky on both ends of the cone. But when I saw that consider that Im talking about minor amounts. Nothing crazy. Just enough for someone like me to see it constantly though.

I understand the OCD. No worries, I'm surprised I didn't catch it on the last rebuild. Maybe this time I'll vape it for a few days before sendin it back... Just to be sure everything is good... And to vape that gorgeous thing for a few days :p

Im leaning toward just keeping it. Its on me really. Im not sure it is even possible to get perfectly straight. Maybe if you set it with a cone on? Then you can be sure that the cone is pushed flush when it dries. But its so minor it might not be possible. If you want I can try to take a pic and you can tell me if Im just being nuts.

Hey everyone! All this talk about the killer makes me want one.... But i just got rid of my penelope cause i didnt like the silica
Penelope and killer are virtually the same. If you don't like silica you probably won't like the killer.

I prefer silica over mesh. in my experience, stick with what works for you.

It's up to you buddy, if you say it needs fixed, it needs fixed.
I'll do my best to straighten things out. That pipe does have a lot of brass tube that can throw off the center line. I'll set it with a longer atty or even piece of tubing to get the center more accurate.

Ug. I feel like a pest and I think Im being silly. Ill PM you a couple pics. Really, I want you to look at it and tell me if its so minor that its not even fixable and that Im the one needing to be fixed. I know which one my wife will tell ya. The odd thing is with the other end being crooked the opposite direction.

EDIT: On a completely different topic, this is the easiest setup yet. Ribbon wire on a RSST. The RSST has an insulated wick hole which makes things easier. Plus the hole is nice and big which is also alot easier to deal with. Plus it wont ground out on the bottom of the tank. Just the easiest setup yet.

My ceramics are slightly easier in that they wont short in anything but you need tight coils and the break super easy, not a great combo.

My latest build and it kicks .....

Oh one more thing, after a very long day of clearing huge trees around and leaning on the house, dealing with a crazy customer from Hollywood claiming to be a movie producer (long story that ended in total weirdness, we get a coo coo customer about every 6 months), and then opening my mail to find I'm being audited!!! YAY!.................. These were only the high points of the day.....

Pipes may actually go up tomorrow. We may not get previews up too much before hand but we will try.

Oh and no worries on the audit, we keep a very tight ship with records. I'm just loving that, in addition to finding a store and every other thing going on, Uncle Sam wants to pull me aside for a look at the books. Didn't I just send him a TON of money? Oh yeah, I did!

Looks like we will have pipes up in a few hours! Previews are up on Facebook and we'll post once they're live on the site.

That is great news...ive been waiting to get one since i saw them at vapefestNY....i looked on facebook and saw the one i wanted. From reading this forum it seems that they go fast, so hopefully i get the one i want.
