After briefly reading that, I don't think that you can use that technic with M3. M3 is not real Damascus steel or Mokume Gane. It is similar in looks but is actually more like a powdered metal stabilized into blocks with some form of acrylic/plastic resin. The densities would be different between the two colors but the resin that bonds the metals would probably devolve rapidly. It might be worth a shot, but with the material being so expensive, and a very good chance of bad results... I think I'll pass this time and do a little more research.
Just thinking about it and a sand blaster would probably create the same effect without destroying the resin. A sand blaster is on my list of tools to buy when we get more space.

Either way, I think they'll look sexy. Just hope you make enough straight Damascus steel looking hammers. The colors look cool but I'm down for a more natural look.

Although I definitely prefer epipes, I saw this & couldn't resist:
Lewis Gentry Segelei LT in Stabilized Fiddleback Koa

It was a fairly decent price due to the "older" technology LavaTube, but it works great & looks fantastic! My only issue now is I gotta learn how to set up the SS mesh Griffin tank. I took the guts out of a Cobra tank I already had, and it vapes very well but the taste is a bit "off" to me...

Another aside to the Killer 705,
It's great and also a juice hog. It's my first silica wick RBA and the flavor is great! Would look great with a long narrow carto-tank on the pipe with a nice thread cover and long stem. This is fun

Ok, so is it just me or does the Killer have the longest 510 connection ever. This thing doesn't fit flush on a single mod I own. Comparing it to every carto, RBA, and RDA has revealed the threaded post is quite a bit longer.

On my Bombshell Stinger it leaves a small gap, nothing offensive to me...on my Caravela it will go flush. Let's talk Matt into adjustable center posts...lol...

I'm impatiently waiting for it to make it's way to my door. Do you notice the gap I'm talking about on your pipes and Provari, or is it just mine?

Ohhh but I found a solution for this gap on my pipes. I just use the Ego ring from my Vision Eternity, and now it dresses quite well.

haven't used it on either of those...lol. One lives permanently on the Stinger the other will be looking for the right tank at Vape Bash...sit pretty flush on the BAM but that is a dished top

It's just a 3.5ml dct tank I had lying around. I wasn't using it cause I'm not a great lover of cartos, so I said I'd try it for a laugh. Didn't think it would fit in there, nevermind work perfectly!
