HOLY SCHNIKEEES!!!!!!

I just found this thread and spent way too much time on your site Matt. I have spent months looking for my first mod and finally I have found it!!! Awesome, awesome work. Stunning. I must have a Gandalf!

Looks like the pipe and the churchwardens sell in a matter of hours. :( When can we expect a new batch to be ready and posted?

THANKS!!!

I saw these pipes and FREAKED OUT. I am completely obsessed and will not stop until a Gandalf is mine.

I am sure it is covered somewhere in the 345 pages of this thread, but a few questions of someone can either answer or direct me to the answers already posted elsewhere:

1) Do the pipe stems generally go up for sale at same time as the pipes? I noticed they are generally sold out.

2) I am a carto + tank guy. What kind of tanks do those of you already blessed with one of these badboys recommend?

3) What else does one need to get these most excellent pipe mods operational?

THANKS TO ALL IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP!

You need a battery. In most cases it's the 18350 version. AW is the best and is the only one epipemods recommends using in it. You need a charger for the battery and the best ones are either the Pila or Xtar. You need a button but that comes with the pipe and you need a 510/ego threading compatible atomizer and, obviously, some eliquid.

P.S. Pipe stems are, of course, optional but they look mighty darn good on a matching pipe

Hey bud welcome.
Anything with an ego connection is doable on these pipes, u can use an atomiser and drip shield then ur stem, the options are endless, my advice just cruise through the thread and get some ideas, alot of people use carto tanks on these pipes, the gandalf is a common and poular pipe made by matt and he usually releases and good few each time so if u keep an eye on the site this week and when they go up im sure you can get one. As for stems there should be a few left and if I were you I would get a couple now especially if u plan to buy a pipe this week. You also may want to breeze through the site and check out some other styles there is a wide range of really great crafted pieces avilable still, I have a few different styles and trust me the obsession grows daily. If and when you do grab a pipe let me know and if you are need of anything just feel free to ask any of us . Oh Matt too shows up all the time so he is available for questions also. Good luck bud. There's really no set schedule for the stems. Matt usually posts here before they hit the site, though.

I've got one of the eGo style DCTs on a pipe atm. For the bigger ones you'll want one of the eGo bell cones to keep things looking nice. I've put a Phiniac tank on, and others are using everything from AGRs to Kir Fanis specials. Dripping RBAs are pretty popular, too. The big Dragon pipes stand upright on their own, so they make a better host for Genesis tanks.

In addition to the chargers mentioned above, the Nitecore i4 is a good one, and is available on the site.

I guess more than anything else with carto tanks looking for one that would look nice and as indigenous to the pipe as possible. I of course have 510 thread tanks that will work, but this would be a highly specialized/customized piece for me...and my first of such ilk.

I too immediately thought of the Phins. The Phineers especially, if you can score one, might stay with the wood look and be cool. Though I must say just a standard ole pyrex tank looks pretty cool on these as is.

Damn you guys are the best. Thanks to one and all (and anyone else who "pipes" up with responses). I will stay dialed into this thread for sure. No one "hit" wonder here. I will roll with y'all long term.

Heading out. Will check in tomorrow and find some way to keep the obsession at bay until Friday.

:D

For quicker updates on pipe releases on Fridays go "like" their Facebook page if you happen to frequent that site. Everything mentioned is great so far. Only thing I can think to add is that they look much better with a ego cone to cover the threads, unless you are using tanks with the built in ego skirts. The carto tank on the site looks good on it and it covers the threads I believe. Else wise get a nice cone.

Post me a link to the aforementioned ego cone and carto tank of which you speak?

Welcome to the pipe lovers domain. I would def advise you get a stem, eGo tank ring, charger, and a pair of 18350 batteries today ASAP. These are things you will always use and if your anything like us die hards then you can never have too many stems. As far as a recommendation I would also say pick up a Vision Eternity to give it a try, and it comes with an eGo ring so it looks bad ... on a pipe.
